"Dock Doors" are watertight and magnetic. They are used for "docking" two things together, so if you wanted to setup an underwater base and your sub to be able to dock together, these are what you would use. Hope that helps

Thanks. I joined the SW community recently. This explained what I needed to know. Fun fact: in the current version these weigh 5 x the vanilla "dock door" and when you multiple the number of cubes it affects a small boat trim. Took me hours to realize it was weight vs trim affect.

You don’t have to use a microcontroller you can use the numerical switch box in the logic

you could use a toggle button and if you dont have the double sided one and two you dont need to have 2 inputs and make the micro controller complicated connect each button the the other button's external input connection

When I did this at first I was not paying attention to the fact that the door panels have to be built off the hinge. Otherwise the panel becomes part of the frame and doesn't move with the "door" part. I thought it to be important to mention that

Yes, you can directly link a toggle to the door, but it won't close automatically

he does know that all you need to use to hold it open is a toggle button sure you have to close it yourself but then you don't need to do that hold open for a couple of seconds thing

I think you may have built the door onto the doorframe, not on the hinge. Remove the door and build it onto the hinge.

Yes, but then you'd open every door on your vehicle. I would recommend adding a microcontroller for each door.
