    You didn't mention Dorchester, Roxbury, West Roxbury, Rosalindale, Hyde Park or S. End

    To summarize, step one: be rich.
    Step two: repeat step one.

    If you want a nice apartment you need to be making good money. I’ve seen a 750sq for almost 3k. You’re basically living in a box. Don’t get me started on groceries 🤦🏾‍♀️.

    3500 inside Boston like gov center means you should be making 140k after taxes to comfortably afford it. You can find some spots outside of the city but within the cities of Boston for 2k. Understand the MBTA is under construction, morning traffic is terrible, and learn how to drive cause we don't need someone going 5 mph during a traffic rush. Boston or MA in general isn't a starter state. You come in with either enough money on your own or enough as a household.

    In the mid 80s, I lived in a cute studio apt on Beacon Hill for $475 a month. In today's dollars, that's $1,414. No way landlord is charging that "low" today.

      Definitely not - rent is super high in Beacon Hill

    Nice but please drop that background music. Hard to listen.

      A lot of these new inexperienced youtubers always put annoying background music as if they're DJ's. I couldn't even finish the freakn video. It's so distracting and annoying.

    Depressing. Lived in Boston my whole life. The price isn’t justified. This city sucks. Only positive is the education, hospitals and food.

      Whats wrong with boston can you explain ? I live in europe I wanna move to boston next year

    • @oappoo3691
      @oappoo3691 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@somed1ey0ung Mainly the cost and what you get out from it. For the cost of rent/buy the units are old for US standards. While Seaport has new builds, it is prone to flooding and isolated from the rest of Boston due to the lack of a subway line to the location. The only viable way to get to seaport is driving across a 3-4 lane bridge or by bus which also has to cross the bridge. The bridge always has traffic and it is a pain to get to. The subway system the T usually has delays. Owning a car is also a pain in the city. While it is true getting a parking permit is free, there are more cars than street parking and causes parking issues for the locals. For professional networking, it is definitely a place to be but the opportunity and network is far smaller than NYC's or SF's. Since you are in Europe, you will appreciate the walkability of Boston which is a selling point compared to other US cities but you are paying significantly more for an inferior European experience.
