My biggest issue with rival reactions, is the fact that it can change your match participants depending on the scenario and you can’t choose the participant that it changes your match to
@JusKicknIt not for me. It put Gunther against Noam Dar during his rivalry with Sheamus. And later put Sheamus against Kofi. Neither of those pairings are enemies.
Theres also a bug where if u exit universe mode and u go back to universe mode and try to edit a rivalry story it will be blank and u cant edit the story anymore. And if your in a rivalry with someone and u edit their move set and change the finisher it will work for a match thats not a rivalry match but if your doing a rivalry match it will revert back to the default movesets that the superstar has. This mode is so buggy even managers get taken off for some reason if u set them in a normal match
@@Brndn350Z its basically back to the way it was. Like if u change 1 little thing in the roster or edit teams it will change everything on the card even if u saved it already. They went backwards with this mode tbh
happens to me too, but another thing that happens to me is that i give the rivalry action to a specific superstar and lets say that’s Aj styles and i put the person that he is having a rivalry with (Gunther) and it makes gunther do the rivalry action instead of AJ, thats very weird
The biggest problem I have with the rivalry system is there's no changes, there's times where the same people are fighting for the better part of a year and its pretty frustrating

one major miss in the video is if you want unlimited rivalry actions you only get that on regular shows and not ppv. in a ppv or ple your rivalries turn everything into the end of a rivalry actions like loser leaves town and no mid match or post match. very limited game, funny how they talk about creating more options by greatly reducing your freedom and no live action breakouts?

I swear 2k takes huge steps forward... And then huge steps backwards every year. They never get it right. They did an AMAZING JOB with CAWS this year, they look incredible, but did a poor job with created arenas and universe because it's FILLED with bugs and issues. It's frustrating to deal with this every year.
Noticed this more when i was using custom superstars and custom titles, like when u set up a rivalry using a custom title it doesn’t register that the belt is involved in the rival even when the champ is in a match they wont even walk out with the belt and even when you have a custom superstar in a rival with say the wwe championship the rival action will just freeze and jump you to the next match pop up screen, needs fixed asap
My only issue right now is managers. For Roman/Paul I have to set Paul as the 2nd manager for it to register he’s manager and the 1st one disappears. And my next issue is the ring announcer for title matches doesn’t show and the title sits awkwardly on the shoulder in introduction stage. Im having no issues with rivalries other than sum lil mess ups
Rivalries are broken, you can't edit trio entrances in universe, managers don't work, random superstars are moved out of their divisions for no reason, referees are still just constantly in the way.
Trio entrances have to be done from the main page under entrance and you have to set it for "together" trio also has to be a group outside of universe. It's 3 dumb steps to do one thing but changing cast on victory messes up who is the tag partners, so it's still a waste of time to try and do.
That’s crazy because this is the only video where I see people in the comment section saying that the rivalry system is broken. I don’t have an issue at all whatsoever yet and I have looked to see if there were other videos or people complaining about the same thing, and there is not one. This is the only one. I play on a series X so I don’t know if that makes a difference.

You could simply do whatever YOU wanted to do (promos, interviews, backstage segments, running someone over with a car, putting someone through a car window, special appearances, your own commentary team and what they'd say etc.).

A good way to overwrite Universe changing your rivalry matches,is to change the Rivalry Action to anything that says the two wrestlers are actually facing each other, instead of Actions that have a description saying "Wrestler A interferes in Wrestler B's match." Or any variation of that, like Post-Match disrespectful changes the match and the rival shows up after to disrespect his opponent, usually by jumping him. disrespectful or Embarrassing Attack however doesn't change the match, it's either a pre-match attack for Disrespectful attack,or a post match beat down,or avoided post match beat down,depending on how the match plays out.
Another issue Is, if you start some rivarly between the Champions and the challengers , when ppv come in some matches the title Is not on the line. That made me so sick
There is another issue which not many have mentioned… your moveset also defaults if you select a rival action. This needs to be fixed ASAP! Ive made significant moveset changes which cant be used with a rival action 🙄
I do like the fact that they made action rivalry theme but I also like the auto rivalry Thing as well but what I would like to see them do in universe mode actually put a storyline mode in universe mode allow us to select an option whatever is listed in option we pick

And 7 months later, sliders don't work unless you do the workaround, counters rarely trigger properly, etc. Rivalry actions revert your match to a 1v1 with sliders not working. It's frustrating.
so another issue I have seen.... I 100% customize every match in my Universe.... if I set up matches... and for some reason have to save and exit the game, when I go back into the game... I can't pick rival actions. When I go to the screen to edit an action, or pick one that didn't get set up.... it's just blank... If i complete the show and go to the next show... they work again. On 1.04 on PC

Honestly I used to like auto rivalries but lately I’ve been making them manually and I kind of like it better that way……as far as the rivalry actions when you let’s say do a post match stare down and it switches ppl it’s because the person you’re in a rivalry with is set interfere after your match… and the person that switches in the ring that you’re facing is someone you have under your enemies tab…. They literally explain them in actions

I knew it was gonna be a major disappointment 2k does the same thing every year they never really fix the core of the game its a title tweak hear and their but they never address the games core issues because they know 1 ppl will still buy and 2 we live in a bells and whistles society no one care about quality or if something works correctly they just want it and want it because it looks good. It's 2023 and it's still so much wrong with this wrestling game but when the had the game from way back in the early 2000s we had no issues and the games were fun I thought we were supposed to progress and the total opposite. I can write a whole boom about what's wrong with this game especially universe mode but I'll just give a few. Most of the actions are the exact same from when they took over okay some of them cut of the entrances which is stupid,there is no backstage or interviews,no 3 or 4 man rivalries,no promos but this is supposed to be sports entertainment,no storylines but theytook away 3on 3 matches,then you are limited on the actions so eventually everyone will be do the same thing over and over again, I mean it's so bad that if someone music hit then comes behind you hits you with a chair in front the ref nothing not the ref being distracted 1st or nothing just blatant and the match just goes on like not,you got refs get knocked soon as the bell rings like come on man when has that ever been a thing and what is the purpose, you can't get your stable to come out and jump ppl or nothing I can go on for months. You got rid of story created for this instead of adding to that making it more interactive. This is what happens when you give the license to someone that knows nothing about wrestling,refuses to listen to the ppl that buy and only care about the money. I held out hope for this game for years and evrý year it's the same bugged out game I'm done with 2k but they won't change it until.everyone comes together and stop buying until they do it right but that probably will never happen which is sad.
Like I told you, I do similar to NJPW/Stardom, since you always need weekly shows, I use the 3 shows, I mentioned in the other comment, to build up for the PLEs. Those are the only ones, I choose the winner of the matches in order to create a build up to PLEs. I mostly do AI vs AI simming.
For Instant we go to options storyline mode in options whatever's listed we picked the Rivalry how we wanted whether is male or female then we also have the option where we click on create a story where we wanted to start and end a certain premium live event are certain Raw SmackDown are NXT or if you created your own brand whatever comes to our mind I would love that freedoms universe mode like a domination storyline for a male or female I would like that or they can put that in Superstar mode also
Removes slot 1 manager. Put a throw away there and actual person you want in slot 2. Dumb af that they didn't catch this but what do you expect when they clearly don't test their games
Wwe 12 universe mode was the best in terms of the experience and wwe 13 in terms of customisation imo. Good balance between spontaneity and continuity. Add those 2 with svr11 in game experience and that would be near perfect. Also, why didn't they ever implement some cutscenes from the old story designer into universe. How wasn't this obvious to them smdh

I have no idea. If you keep doing something, and it constantly crashes, you either need to re-download the game. Or Restart your Universe. Something glitched somewhere along the lines, and sometimes, NOT always, these could help you, even though it's not exactly desirable.
Editing tattoos in my Rise is super bugged. Once set a tattoo it disappears on the edit menu so I cant edit it anymore. Also trying to change a body part the tattoo is on in rise makes it go invisible.
I’m having troubles with the titles more than anything 😢, can’t defend smack down woman title or intercontenial title in a rivalry at all. No one is talking about this at all 🫣 Also when I’m on raw for some reason they defend smack down tag titles and etc for being on raw they defend smack down titles

Umm it’s not broken in the description it literally tells you the match will be a normal match they all change if you put the cutscene action on because each match type can’t fit for the cutscenes
It's just wonky how the game sets up a championship match, falls count anywhere, but because there's a rival action that was automatically added, it now becomes a normal 1v1 match with no championship. You don't find that a bit busted?

I've played every wrestling game in history since the 80's. I just never did the rival stuff before. I had them turned off in 2K22, and never had any of these issues.
Sir there’s is a major issue here that you need to talk about is that when we customise the movesets of a superstar in universe mode it reverts to default and not saving the movesets we customised it pisses of me the most

I think that's fixed now. I played today and had everyone in the Bloodline in the entrance as well as every member of Damage Control.

I think the rivalry actions are kinda 50/50 for me. I LOVE the freedom, but stuff like this is very disappointing. However, at this point, expected

As far as I know, there are only cutscenes with rival actions. There's playability left, but immersion wise, it will be less as a result.

The random attires things is missing too. Also, when I manually switch an attire, it goes back to the original attire.

man i HATE the fact that rival actions can just cancel out entrances entirely. Also my champions don't even come out with their titles half the time.

I just cant figure out how to end them lol. I had a rivalry with karrion kross triggered with a custom guy and its gone past multiple PLE events now.

Sometimes, my champions are in rivalries, but when the PLE comes along, it's not a championship match.
Yeah championship matches for me at least, must not have any rivalry actions going on at all.

I can write a whole boom about what's wrong with this game especially universe mode but I'll just give a few. Most of the actions are the exact same from when they took over okay some of them cut of the entrances which is stupid,there is no backstage or interviews,no 3 or 4 man rivalries,no promos but this is supposed to be sports entertainment,no storylines but theytook away 3on 3 matches,then you are limited on the actions so eventually everyone will be do the same thing over and over again, I mean it's so bad that if someone music hit then comes behind you hits you with a chair in front the ref nothing not the ref being distracted 1st or nothing just blatant and the match just goes on like not,you got refs get knocked soon as the bell rings like come on man when has that ever been a thing and what is the purpose, you can't get your stable to come out and jump ppl or nothing I can go on for months. You got rid of story created for this instead of adding to that making it more interactive. This is what happens when you give the license to someone that knows nothing about wrestling,refuses to listen to the ppl that buy and only care about the money. I held out hope for this game for years and evrý year it's the same bugged out game I'm done with 2k but they won't change it until.everyone comes together and stop buying until they do it right but that probably will never happen which is sad.

Championship matches have always given me trouble since 19 - they want it to be 1 vs 1 normal for title ..

Like I told you, I do similar to NJPW/Stardom, since you always need weekly shows, I use the 3 shows, I mentioned in the other comment, to build up for the PLEs. Those are the only ones, I choose the winner of the matches in order to create a build up to PLEs. I mostly do AI vs AI simming.
But anyways the main glitches I see is that you can’t switch reds between shows, managers glitch out, and you can’t save teams

For Instant we go to options storyline mode in options whatever's listed we picked the Rivalry how we wanted whether is male or female then we also have the option where we click on create a story where we wanted to start and end a certain premium live event are certain Raw SmackDown are NXT or if you created your own brand whatever comes to our mind I would love that freedoms universe mode like a domination storyline for a male or female I would like that or they can put that in Superstar mode also

Removes slot 1 manager. Put a throw away there and actual person you want in slot 2. Dumb af that they didn't catch this but what do you expect when they clearly don't test their games

Wwe 12 universe mode was the best in terms of the experience and wwe 13 in terms of customisation imo. Good balance between spontaneity and continuity. Add those 2 with svr11 in game experience and that would be near perfect.
Also, why didn't they ever implement some cutscenes from the old story designer into universe. How wasn't this obvious to them smdh
Can i ask, How do the rivalries end if you dont have auto rivalries on. My rivalries have been going on for 2 in game months….dont know how to end the damn rivalry without deleting it, because deleting it would have no history. Need help
Sorry for delay. I get a crazy amount of daily comments on all my YT channels, and I get notified of like 1% of them. I have rivalries off, as they are broken, so I know nothing about them at all.

That I haven't noticed, because I generally just delete rival actions.

I have no idea. If you keep doing something, and it constantly crashes, you either need to re-download the game. Or Restart your Universe. Something glitched somewhere along the lines, and sometimes, NOT always, these could help you, even though it's not exactly desirable.
Editing tattoos in my Rise is super bugged. Once set a tattoo it disappears on the edit menu so I cant edit it anymore. Also trying to change a body part the tattoo is on in rise makes it go invisible.
I’m having troubles with the titles more than anything 😢, can’t defend smack down woman title or intercontenial title in a rivalry at all. No one is talking about this at all 🫣 Also when I’m on raw for some reason they defend smack down tag titles and etc for being on raw they defend smack down titles
I had drew call out cena for the universal title and in my universe John cena was the campion but John call out drew for the title and drew had the title in his hands I was so confused
so basically use the action if you dont want the title yet.

Hmmm, that's an odd one I have not encountered yet. I have rivals overall turned off, because it was wonky.
For Superstar mode instead of going in the way we go in patter of story how we want our Superstar mode to be like for instance again we could do go create a storyline we have the option either the played on there are we have the option to tap into universe mode or GM mode it's just a suggestion I don't know what if I know that's what I like to see I don't know

Umm it’s not broken in the description it literally tells you the match will be a normal match they all change if you put the cutscene action on because each match type can’t fit for the cutscenes
It's just wonky how the game sets up a championship match, falls count anywhere, but because there's a rival action that was automatically added, it now becomes a normal 1v1 match with no championship. You don't find that a bit busted?

I've played every wrestling game in history since the 80's. I just never did the rival stuff before. I had them turned off in 2K22, and never had any of these issues.

Well for me, rivalry actions revert any match back to a 1 on 1 normal match. So it's kinda busted, though some might not care.

Sir there’s is a major issue here that you need to talk about is that when we customise the movesets of a superstar in universe mode it reverts to default and not saving the movesets we customised it pisses of me the most
