I havnt felt such emotion while listening to heavy rock/metal since my days of early korn and spineshank... this band are an evolution of the music from that era, and they make it a welcome return.
The lyrics are based on a surreal world where one's shadow is a separate individual who the main character tries to merge with. In the video the black liquid symbolizes the persons' shadows and during the video the liquid covers each character more and more. The little boy with the rabbit mask is partly inspired by the psychological thriller "Donnie Darko" from 2001 and he represents the characters' alternative self.
The easter rabbit reminds us the confortable illusion of the "unreal". Look at the characters, they all seem sad about their monochromatic lifes. The chocolate (that seem to be blood) are memories of their dreams. At the end of the video, they beg in front of their " last known eidolon". :-) (Sorry for my english. I hope it's been clear)

I totally agree! It's a little sad the rest of the Europe tour got Papa Roach as support. Looked forward to see them aswell. But this band is pretty good aswell.
Pretty sure this is spiritually about how the darkness consumes those who don't seek out the Love of Christ. If you feel like the people in this music video, you should be seeking God with your whole heart, and you will find the heavenly Joy you seek.
