      Well, some birds just don't get used to human hands, no matter how much you try, so don't get frustrated, maybe yours is one of those. In fact, my other birds (Richard) absolutely refuses to interact with people and he's been with me for 2 years now.

      I have one for almost 4 years and there's no chance to touch it or interact with it. So.....I need another parrot :) :) :)

      @@randomizedgame odanın içinde serbest dolaşmasına izin verip sana ve odaya alışmasını sağlaman lazım.. öncelikle bırak bi 2-3 gün kendi başına dolaşsın bütün odada. sonra odada sana yakın mesafede duran yerlere yemek koy. senin yakınında yemek yiyebilmeye başladığı zaman sana güvenmeye başladığı anlamına geliyo. sonradan marul çekirdek tarzı yiyecekleri onun uzaktan görebileceği şekilde elinde tut ya da önüne bi tabak koyup onun içine koy. kuşun sana doğru yaklaşmasını bekle ve kuş sana gelince elinle uzat yemekleri ama çok yavaş yap bunu. korkmasına sebep olacak sesler çıkaran şeyleri de kapat (televizyon telefon gibi). kafesindeyken elini uzatma sakın hele içeri hiç daldırma elini senden korkmasına sebep olur ilk başlarda sonralarda alışınca yaparsın. hep kafesinin dışındayken alıştırmaya çalıştır.

      My eastern rosella was raised in aviary and has been rather anxious around me since I adopted him. But, day-to-day interaction and rewarding with cranberries has really helped bring him out of his wild habits. Currently on month 3 and hes no longer anxious to the point he breathes heavy and has a deep panicked crow-like pitch.

    They are not quite as smart as I thought. Apple slices are not doing the trick.

    How can I touch my rozella on her back without her running away pls help

    • @bagos13GR
      @bagos13GR 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can't. In many bird species inclouding Rosella , touching the bird bellow the head/neck its like a sexual thing, so it can get frustrating for them and thats why she/he is running away.

    • @iieC0okiex3
      @iieC0okiex3 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just stroke her head, not anywhere else. It will make your bird sexually frustrated.

    I have one which is more aggressive towards hands if they dont have food. Also he is more like a bitch. He can switch from peaceful to evil really fast.
    Would like to get him more on hand but it really difficult. Since we did catch him.
    What do you give him as reward?
