Beautiful ancient music. I’ve been to China and Japan. They are both beautiful, ancient places but I really connected with Japan. I got to visit Shanghai and Beijing. While in Beijing I got to climb the Great Wall of China! When I went to Japan I visited temples and palaces! It was awe inspiring. The cherry blossoms were blooming. It was so picturesque. I plan on going back to both places again. This music transports me there. Thank you

I've got a year-long essay due in a few days. Been really stressed out, basically losing my mind trying to finish it. I often find it extremely difficult to sit down and write something like an essay, so it's been tough. I was getting really worried and basically at my breaking point. That feeling of walking in ancient Japan in a grass field for days, then you decide to sit for a quick rest, you put your two katanas down and look up to your front and you see the temple in the mountains that you've been seeking for, it's your most difficult battle ever, and this song comes into yout mind as you slowly get yourself up and as the sun is hitting you in the eyes from the side you get that strange sentiment of relief as you knew that even if you died in the battle you would die with honour. That feeling gives me goosebumps!

check out emeishan or huashan. I went to emeishan, there were temples up on the clouds, at 5am, while the sun is awakening, you could hear monks meditate, sounds transperce heavy layers of fogs(clouds I think). And there were monkeys. It was magic.

I dont know what it is, but ever since the first time I heard Koto music in movies and stuff as a kid I loved it. I turned 22 a while ago and just before that I discovered what the sound was and that a Koto was an instrument. I wish I could try one, I wish I had the chance to learn one... My favorite genre of music is metal, but I love something of everything and the Koto is very high up on that list. It makes me sad because Ill probably never even get to see one in person, let alone touch it, learn it, or play it.
I like this one, it doesn't have the typical flute in it. I don't see how anyone can relax with those high piercing notes. I just wish this one was longer so i didn't have to rely on it *MAYBE* looping.

I've got a year-long essay due in a few days. Been really stressed out, basically losing my mind trying to finish it. I often find it extremely difficult to sit down and write something like an essay, so it's been tough. I was getting really worried and basically at my breaking point. This morning, I found this video on my recommended. I've had it on since and it's really calmed me down and helped me focus. I have one paragraph left to go, and I see it clearly in my mind. That feeling of walking in ancient Japan in a grass field for days, then you decide to sit for a quick rest, you put your two katanas down and look up to your front and you see the temple in the mountains that you've been seeking for, it's your most difficult battle ever, and this song comes into yout mind as you slowly get yourself up and as the sun is hitting you in the eyes from the side you get that strange sentiment of relief as you knew that even if you died in the battle you would die with honour. That feeling gives me goosebumps!

The first place I was exposed to Asian music is the Chinese restaurants it’s so beautiful. Now that I’m a Energy healing Master Teacher in Japanese Alternative Medicine, I’m in love with the meditation music. koto's name is not koto, it is Tang zheng, it comes from Tang dynasty China, and still no change even in Japan now, it has 13 strings, however, the Chinese have a developed Tang zheng called Gu zheng, which has 21 strings. and the flute is one form of the flute of 3 form bamboo flutes in China, the style in this sound is totally Chinese style, Japan has its own developed style but still using these instruments.

check out emeishan or huashan. I went to emeishan, there were temples up on the clouds, at 5am, while the sun is awakening, you could hear monks meditate, sounds transperce heavy layers of fogs(clouds I think). And there were monkeys. It was magic.

I dont know what it is, but ever since the first time I heard Koto music in movies and stuff as a kid I loved it. I turned 22 a while ago and just before that I discovered what the sound was and that a Koto was an instrument. I wish I could try one, I wish I had the chance to learn one... My favorite genre of music is metal, but I love something of everything and the Koto is very high up on that list. It makes me sad because Ill probably never even get to see one in person, let alone touch it, learn it, or play it.
I like this one, it doesn't have the typical flute in it. I don't see how anyone can relax with those high piercing notes. I just wish this one was longer so i didn't have to rely on it *MAYBE* looping.
