I replaced rear with aftermarket for $200, took me few hours, worked perfectly. Car totaled 3 weeks later😂😢. So glad I didn't spend extra for original. The aftermarket looked exactly perfect identical without BMW sticker on it 😳
Thanks. Very informative. How long after the car is switched off and stationary that the passenger side front sags this low as shown in the start of the video?
@@DEEuroworks Thanks. My passenger side tilts by about less than a cm over 24 hours when stationary and by exactly the same margin on both the passenger front and passenger rear. What are the chances that both the air struts developed exactly the same amount of leak at exactly the same time? Or is it something else or is it car load balancing or something.
If you have leaky air strut, would you generally see a fault code in the BMW air suspension ECU (using ODB2 scanner or BMW Telematics remote service) to confirm this? Thanks!
I have a 2019 bmw 740i and the passenger side is sagging low compared to the driver side from overnight. When i turn car on and drive it levels a little but after turning car off, passenger size back sagging. Any thoughts?
@DEEuroworks bmw dealership said passenger size rear air strut is leaking air and need replacement. He quoted me $2500 for 1 part & 900$ for labor. That's crazy just for one air strut. Any ideas on how to repair cheaper? And my thing is what if I need to replace other 3 if issue not fix.
I enjoyed watching and listening to the step by step process.

@@SaminPK Thank you, overnight it would be sitting low.

Probably a leaky air strut, good idea to get it looked at

@ sounds accurate. Expensive car = expensive repairs.
Autozone is selling rebuild by Arnott Suspension for $1,300. Would you recommend?
@ I would go with an original one, unless you have no other choice.
Wow im glad im content with a honda accord. Shocks only lasting 5yrs 3k to replace. I see why middle class is poor if they buy these cars.
