you play beautifully, my dream is to get an organ like this, I'm from Brazil, it's hard to find it here and it's very expensive, I'm teaching myself to play the organ
Thank you very much Bryan. It's more a case that I memorise the arrangement than play by ear but I do use music if I'm not overly familiar with the arrangement or playing a piece at short notice. It's great that you can read the dots and embellish them I think that's what it's all about. Phil
Many thanks for your comments Phil, much appreciated. I play a Ringway RS1000E and can get some good Theatre Organ sounds from the instrument. Over the years I have played a number of various church organs. Never had an organ lesson in my life - gravitated to the organ from the piano - and I did have a lot of piano lessons. I began at age 10 in 1956 at 1/6d (7.5p) for half an hour. My mum played piano and I have a lot or original 1930s-1940s sheet music. Bryan.
