You might want to raise your laptop a bit to create space between it and the surface it's on. If there are air vents (the cooling system) underneath, this will help a lot. For example, on my Acer Nitro 5 with an i5-8300H (not great, I know), the temps stay around 90-95°C while heavy cpu load when it's flat on the table. But by simply elevating it so there's some airflow, the vents can properly release the hot air, and the temps drop to around 70-75°C. Just be careful not to block the vents, as that's essentially what happens when you place the laptop directly on the desk-there’s barely any room for the hot air to escape.

I mean it’s fine from the manufacturer but it might low the laptop’s lifecycle (just a theory) from repetitive overheating, idk man
