I love animals, but don't believe they should be in the passenger area for many reasons.
It would be great if airlines implemented a sign-up system for sitting next to people with pets. I sit next to a doggo all damn day!

Those girls love dogs and aren't afraid to show their joy to be near the dog during flight. I observed a majority of passengers not happy. God forbid people express their joyful feelings.

As an Aussie it absolutely astounds me that dogs travel on the plane with passengers over there 😳!! Here they HAVE to be transported in proper cages etc and loaded into cargo bays of selected animal transport planes !!

My father has had 3 Samoyeds that have passed on, they had the most loving temperament and are all sadly missed. My father is dying of cancer and likely only has a few weeks left but I know that if heaven exists he will be reunited with his beautiful dogs never to be apart again, and that gives me some solace.
My father passed away two weeks ago, those lovely Samoyeds will now be having all the walks they ever dreamt of.
I'm sorry for your loss. I sincerely hope that your father and his beloved Samoyeds will be at peace forevermore together.

Some people are scrared or allergic to dogs🤷♀️ and some just don’t like dogs or at least not on a plane and its understandable when its a Long flight and theres a dog barking or blocking the hallway .. you know its an exception that this dog got to be on Board!
Only tiny dogs are allowed with passagiers - the big ones normally are in the Animal space in Cages in the underground of the plane

I had a wonderful Samoyed named Noel. She might have been put down as a puppy (severe hip displasia) but she had a small operation and lived to be 13. I was so happy to have her. RIP baby 1985-1998.😊

I would not get excited, but would rather have the dog next to me then a kid. Then again I got dogs who love to use my feet as there pillows under my desk so lack of foot room wouldn't be anything new.... I would be likely to be petting the dog while in flight so ya. I can see why she would want the dog in her row.

Edit: Turns out you can only have a dog on-board most airlines unkenneled if you have a service dog of some sort. 9/10 a dog this size would never be allowed on board so curious to know what type of service dog this is. This isn't per airline is per airport. Hence why you don't see everyone walking around with their dogs in the terminal.
Planes actually have a very decent amount of space under each seat that this beautiful doggo would hardly fill. Those spaces are made for dogs. I even remember someone fitting a mastiff under their seat. It's a lot more humane than where they would be placed.
I would love a giant blanket under my feet.
@Becca I use to be a ramp agent for West jet in Canada and a handful of airlines in Canada don't let you bring your dog as a Carry on. And if you're flying internationally then coordinating with the airline may be even trickier. Nonetheless I agree. It's better when an animal that is traveling is within the care of the owner and not stuffed under the plane.

He sits on the ground in front of her and under the seat of the chair in front of her. Usually you are lucky if your plane isn't full and you have an extra seat or 2 in your row but lucky for her, she has those two lovely ladies who are so excited to share their space with the puppy 😊.

That would be a nightmare for me. I am allergic and the air is recycled on a plane. 🫢🤒 People hardly consider those with dog or cat allergies. I had to switch lines at a grocery store once because of an owner with a dog behind me. People think you're being rude or mean, but I didn't want to deal with feeling sick, I had stuff to do that day.

I was at an airport once waiting for a flight. Someone had a dog, another person stopped to meet the dog and while the two of them were all excited to meet each other (man and dog), a group had stopped to watch them. A big crowd of happy.
Even though I don’t really like dogs (too many bad dog owners), I’m glad the people that were most excited to see the dog were it’s neighbors. That’s a win win situation for both parties!

I think the animal is in training that's why she's directing it. You do know that service animals need to be trained right? They don't just pop out the womb knowing what to do.

Me too, its so ignorant when people expect everyone to be as comfortable with their animals as they are. No crate no nothing. Also, the dog has no space shes going to expect her neighbors to just put up with a dog they dont know crammed at their feet. Smh total selfishness and ignorance if its a properly trained service animal fine, no problem, but I doubt this one is.
For someone with terrible allergies, I’m questioning if I’m gonna make it to the destination without a medical emergency.

We have a Sammy!! She's an old Girl now.....will be FIFTEEN this September!! Still gets around ok, but we had to start monthly Chiropractic for her last September.
This February, we combined a Librela injection with the Chiro visits. This has really helped her to enjoy her remaining time with us!! She still barks "get going people" to us after supper for her evening walk. Its a much slower walk now, but she still wants to go!!!

@@TheLirJEt86 oh I can tell she's fine but I've never flown with an animal, dunno I would've expected the pup to be stressed/need to pee/ear hurting due to pressure but I have no idea at all. Maybe it's a shorter flight too, just wondering what if it's one of those huge 12 hour flights
@@iCortex1yeah i dont think a plane would be a great environment for a dog. Assistance/service dogs need to be there and are trained to deal with stressfull situations. But peoples pet dogs shouldnt travel by plane in my opinion. Im not an expert i just think the pressure, noises, and tight spaces cant be nice at all. And most people dont understand dog body language enough to understand how theyre feeling.
You can tell the dog is well trained because it actually listens when its owner says to leave it. I bet most of the passengers were thinking "oh great, another SeRvIcE aNiMaL that is going to be barking the whole flight"
@@since1876you can tell this is a pet and not a service dog because he/she sniffs around instead of finding the seat. There is an habit to claim pets as emotional support dogs to be able to bring them on planes
