She called the costume character Ermine. This was not part of the Mask Show. That happened early in 2023. This was just inviting the performers back for an encore performance. Diana disguised her voice for the first five performances of the Mask Show. With the sixth performance, California Dreaming, the producers told her to drop the disguise and sing in her natural voice. Diana took part in Masked Singer in 2023. She was in the same costume Ermine. Truly it's a version of Japanese mask Kizune fox. And all of Judges know that it's Diana. In New Year Mask show
This is a special New Year's edition, nothing like the normal program. Previous contestants from seasons past were invited back with their original costumes to perform duets and solos. There were no secrets in this episode, everyone already knows who they all are. Diana is 5' 7" btw and certainly not short, but average height. She dwarfs Brandon Stone who is much shorter.
Diana had already performed last year, she made it until the 9th episode and they knew it was her at the end. Her first 6 performances…you could not tell because she manipulated her vocals and I could recognize her in several covers. She is an Amazing vocalist that can sing any genre. It was a special New Year issue of the show, so the judges had to guess each participant right after his/her performance, there were no winners or losers, and the performers didn't care much about disguising their voices.
Diana is 5 ft 4 inches tall. the traditional costume can be a Kitsune 9 tail fox, but for Diana in this show, she's ermine, also called a Stote from the weasel family.
