I love the entire cast! The dads Jo Han-chul and Lee Seung-joon just cracked me up with their drunk expressions. 😂I'm picky about kdramas and I thoroughly enjoyed Love Next Door. Sure, the characters are flawed and imperfect, but who isn't? Sad it's ending next week but I look forward to the story wrapping up. How I wish we get to see more content of everyone!

One thing I know for sure is Asian cultures have very strong community connections (?) when you form a relationship with someone, you don't solely interact with him/her but rather, every single person in her social circle. The proximity is close so chances when you meet them would be high and frequent. Knowledge/Experience being passed on through generations can also explained for the parents' presences in your life. When older people disapprove your love interest, maybe because they're aware something that you aren't (yet) based on their experience (?).
Honestly there are some parts of LND which I quite didn’t get or was a fan of and hoped the script was better. But all these beautiful scenes between Hae-In and Somin are why this show has been a great watch. They have such beautiful chemistry very natural 🥰 Hae-In could just look at the screen and make us feel emotions we didn’t know we had ❤ he is so sublime !!
I dont know why Netflix doesn't upload anything about the second lead couple. Even tho I love this couple , but the second couple also deserves all ghe love and recognition

I think he rushed the proposal , because she just got out of a relationship + not long ago she was diagnosed with cancer. And they just got got together not too long ago. I know that he waited for her for TOO LONG, but he should think from her POV also. Don’t misunderstand me , I love them so much😢.
I think all the mishaps were trying to warn him😂..both views are correct. She needed to overcome her fears but also they had known each other long enough and he Was willing to ride through the storms with her.
good couple but not best at all , male lead is way too good of a character , always showing how special and important she is to him while female lead never shows it , she neither speak good words nor her actions shows , sometimes its like she is being forced to love . idk why people don't notice these things or maybe they do but they find it amazing to watch ....if you need examples he wanted to go to award ceremony with her but she rejected , he put her name in contest, she got 3rd but she didnt even thank him once .. she rejected his proposal and left him there without even trying to discuss (and in the end he had to call her again )😀

Even after you watched this scene, you still dont understand her character. She refused his proposal because she was scared she may die someday if her cancer relapses. She refuses to go to his award ceremony because she is afraid he would be embarrassed of her because she has no job. She just had worries and insecurities and inferior complex. But the beautiful thing is that he understood her problems and always helped her to resolve it
