I really wonder how the game would have been different if Sheryl had not been evicted first. Everybody says "the pawn always goes home" when they pawn rarely goes home but since it happened the very first eviction, it has stuck.
It doesn't happen so often nowadays, since the new casts are always so afraid to go aGaInSt ThE hOuSE. But I remember it being actually quite commom in those first few seasons (but, again, I watched those seasons back in 2014 so...)
Through Kent's friendship with Bunky he eventually dropped the homophobia and even went to the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus’s Lavender Pen Tour concert (had to search that up to make sure because I forgot the name) with Bunky. Kent was an amazing character and I loved watching him this season. His ideas about gay people were pretty bad, but we did get to see the start of him being more accepting toward them this season and the fact that he was able to respect Bunky for who he is and even become friends with him was beautiful. I just realized that you didn't talk about Kent and Bunky's conversation about Bunky being gay in a straight world that they had on week one. I guess there's only so much you can talk about but that conversation showed Kent, though misguided, was reasonable, and I believe it may have been the start of his friendship with Bunky. RIP Kent.
I feel like it would be Angela Rummans, Dan Gheesling, Derrick aLevasseur, Janelle Pierzina, Jeff Schroeder, Jessica Graf, Jordan Lloyd, Kaysar Ridha, Marcellas Reynolds, Nicole Anthiny, Nicole Franzel, Paul Abrahamian, Rachel Reilly, Tyler Crispen, Vanessa Rousso, Will Kirby. All players she talked about liking her moves or liking them. The guys were so much easier than the girls.
What does it mean, "hasn't aged well"? People have different perspectives. And that is fine. It's fine for the media to show that we are not all cut from the same cloth. We are not all from the same backgrounds. We don't all have the same viewpoint or morals. Diversity is more than just different races or religions. It's also different thoughts, ideas, and ideals. Back in those days (my days), we got that. Now, people don't, and because of that, things are more divisive, people are more angry, and more tribal. It actually has aged well, and shows that people from all walks of life can form happy, healthy, and lifelong bonds. What people like you should do is learn from it.
I mean, if we've learnt anything for certain at this point, it's that Mike's absolutely a sore loser. 😬😹 It still seems so off that Hardy started smokin', tbh.. and, yeah, the 9/11 bit is probably the only bit from this season that I've seen in years; that's such an impactful and tragic moment.
Dr will is considered such a great player honestly just because he is such a fantastic character while still being a great player. Dan and Derrick are both fantastic players as well, but they are just not that great as characters besides their gameplay moments. Even when will wasn’t talking about the game, he was absolutely hilarious, and there was never a moment where he was dull or uninteresting. I watched bb2 and bb3 back to back, without knowing anything about either season, and those being the first 2 bb seasons I’d ever watched, and I found myself enjoying much of bb2 more than bb3, simply because of how fantastic of a character will was. I had someone to root for, and I was rooting for him for basically the whole season after the boogie boot. Meanwhile bb3, I’m not entertained by Danielle or Jason at all, they both seem like really boring yet nice people, Lisa was even more boring if that’s possible, and amy was annoying. The only character that made it decently far that I liked was marcellas, and even he was annoying at points and had just TERRIBLE gameplay moments at multiple points throughout the season. So tbh will just is fantastic tv to the point where it doesn’t even matter that his gameplay isn’t perfect, it’s pretty great, and that’s all it needs to be, because his character picks up the rest. Dr will could literally carry any season in terms of entertainment value, no matter the cast.
Hey, did you hear the news that Christie from the new season of Big Brother just got replaced? She unfortunately got COVID during her sequester, and was replaced by a new player named Claire
Don’t listen to him, bb2 has real gameplay, bb16-22 has been nothing but overpowered twist and house votes, bb2 has tons of drama, house splits, blindsides, it’s the season that literally established the show and is much more enjoyable, there is also no veto which adds intrigue
