It looks like this update is just new textures, not updated graphics in the sense that it represents the track today. They also left some grassy areas intact that have long since been paved over on the real track. Looks like we’ll have to wait for a re-scan for a full update. : / The new pavement does look nice though.
It is finally going to get me to upgrade past my 1080TI. lol. Before the update 120fps+ all the time (not everything on high but most) now with those settings I am getting 90-100fps but it looks far better.
If you own old Sebring do I need to buy this again? I mean, some of my previously bought cars and tracks are legacy now and and I felt turned off when I renewed my sub and saw that I need to pay "again" to get new version of the track/car?
Oh don't get me started. Road America hasn't had grass at the exit of T1 for a decade. But it's still there in iracing. Same deal on Turn 2 of Mosport.
@@A539squid Once they update the track in its most current form, it will generate a great cost of resources and time, so probably when they release a more updated version of the track this will be legacy content
So, while a visual update is nice, the track in reality does not have grass exit of T17, T1 pit out wall goes straight on not bending right, and apex cone USED to be there til around 2018-9 (now a 0 marker).

You update the whole circuit but don't fix the exit of T17? (hasn't been grass in over 10 years) and the wall at T1 (not as egregious but still). Simple fix, SO FIX IT.
It irks me more than it should that they updated the billboards with the Sebring refresh but the Daytona rescan still has Florida Hospital among other outdated ads.
Man the trees!!! Whats going on with the trees? They look like carboard cutouts till you get close, its really distracting... like those silly 2D birds
Looks awesome... but I have one for the wish list... can we please... PLEASE.... fix the poor airliner landing at Daytona at like 500-600 MPH? it looks like its about crash.
The exit of T17 is major. Being my home track I can promise you this lack of an update here is surprisingly noticeable on lap times. They could literally go into the code, change the color from green to grey, and change the values so that area behaves like concrete instead of grass. Done. What, 45 minutes max of fixing it? Come on iRacing. You did an amazing job on updating the track, you even went and put in the new bridge into Green Park but can't fix a patch of grass?!
As a consumer, you need to do better Aa-Ron. You should apply to work there so they can have the resources to do this since it's so integral to your mood.

Compliment and Gripe Compliment: This Sebring remake looks amazing! Gripe: As amazing as this looks, it baffles me how iRacing CANNOT make trees and fences 3D! Come on iRacing!!!
@@scott1krr431ya that always confused me about the whole “wish trees were 3d” argument. Like, are you really gonna notice the trees when going really fast and fighting for positions?
They can, but it's not worth wasting geometry on something when they can use billboards and normal maps to accomplish 95% of the same look (at speed from on track angles)
When is the new update for the Spa? how old is that track? need a rework for that? what about the net code issues? There are thousands of issues and these are not relevant at the moment. Think about the community and fix the basics, please. you guys won't forget to take the money at the right time but where is the satisfaction. Without any visible damage, we are getting 4x. Just fix the basics please for god sake.
The apex marker in T1 isn’t a cone anymore it’s an actual sign. Also there was a dot painted on the bridge in T17 to mark the ideal line.

The hollow part at the end of the last curve is no longer a green area now it is totally paved, I think it was missing to correct this part
