I don’t know what’s worse - The amount of fans who actually stayed or the fact that in real life, some of these fights would be really good. 2 Face cruiserweights would be a good fight.
It's easier to lose fans in a longer season, it's like people getting bored of wrestling at certain points of the year is programmed into the game. I've legit ran a card of all 5 star matches and 3 charity promos and lost fans at the b ppv after summerslam
I'm gonna be honest, given how samey and dull the mainstream WWE superstars are, I probably would watch this show over the main WWE franchise stuff. Just a bunch of awful actors with weird gimmicks is exactly my taste.
Twice you showed a screenshot showing there were no free agents to sign, and both times Adrian Buck was right there available on a permanent contract. You also should have put the title matches in the middle of the show, knowing they would be rated higher. Sorry, not trying to be a dick or anything. Video was fun.👍
Haha, my bad! Adrian Buck looked way too real to me. Thought he might be someone I just hadn't heard of. Also yeah, I've had a few comments suggesting things I could have done worse, maybe I'll try it again one day, thanks for the comment and dw you were being constructive! It's appreciated :)
From my experience, it seems you're going to get whatever rating you get regardless. I could be wrong in regards to the low end of your potential rating; but I've definitely played out matches that would be rated 5 stars in any of the other modes, yet only got 2-3 stars, which always lined up with what I would've expected had those matches been simulated.
is it fine to only throw normal and title matches until the ppv? will i still be able to get good ratings or you gotta have high quality matches like extreme rules?
Yeah you can definitely do that. Rivalries will ensure that ratings of matches go up (as they progress) so utilise those! The PPVs are where you're mainly going to be making fans and money, so you can afford to have less impressive shows leading up to them, especially at the start :)
My aim here of course was for every match to be half star, so I didn't have a good match per se to put in the mid card aha, also I did lower the morale in the messages, I just didn't show it :)
Yeah at the start of the run you can use Normal matches to save money and stamina, make sure to throw in tag matches and title matches for variety (like you said) and focus on building the rivalries ready for the PPVs so you can end them in a HIAC or TLC!
if you did a 50 week run of this i feel like you could get less than 1mil fans as the last like 15 week you’re already losing fans so you’d be losing them like 50k a week with this
If only you had a way of knowing which match would gain the 1 star rating, you could optimize this further by intentionally botching the curve (0.5>1>0.5 is a worse show than 1>0.5>0.5 or 0.51)
“I’m gonna give [the title] to The Brian Kendrick because he has the lowest popularity.” Yeah, it’s pretty hard to get over with the fans once you’ve gotten on camera supporting anti-Semitic David Icke conspiracies. Total magnet for “go away heat,” for sure.
the fact that you drafted lucha house party just by grabbing the least popular is hilarious.
Kyle Slickman’s origin video, this is almost biblical 💪💪💪
You should do another GM mode where you try and succeed but you have to get Kyle Slickman as Champion and the most popular superstar.
Yes! I'd love to see that
That would be great!
This is the best suggestion I've ever seen.
@@DiamondLobby HE'S DOING IT, LET'S GOOO
@@MehAlex he's done it
Kyle slickman is just hall of fame material
The best part of this is the AI smackdown's WWE title holder is Tyler Breeze on week 2(?!)
Prince Pretty is far better than Roman Reigns
I don’t know what’s worse - The amount of fans who actually stayed or the fact that in real life, some of these fights would be really good. 2 Face cruiserweights would be a good fight.
I know man, it's weird how they force you to clash roles... makes it all feel a bit bland sometimes!
2:45 a legend was born
Kyle Slickman is actually part of the security and instead of a match he just tazers his opponent and drags them out of the venue
Would explain a lot. Awful matches but consistent wins!
@@DiamondLobby Can you a run where you beat the AI with Kyle Slickman as you main star?
Would you have done better (or worse) if you actually booked half decent matches for the midcard? As you would be penalized for the pacing
Red flame kinda goated tbh

we all are now a big fan of Kyle slickman we need to go to wwe and scream we want Kyle slickman
Yes. Yes we absolutely do.
Doing the longer time would have helped with lowering fans, I’ve noticed.
The only time you gain is during ppvs. lol
This was where the legend started, Kyle Slickman
Kyle is my hero.
The idea of established superstars having rivalries with absolute randos over matches that no one cares about is hilarious to me.
The fact you ended with almost $1 million over the draft budget is hilarious
You should do something similar to this, but instead of going for the least fans, you try to win with just the weird indie wrestlers.
Hey People Power was a glorious time in WWE history 🤣
kyle slickman caw when?
gave a like just for that johnny ace line haha epic

Triple H: "Hi! I see that you absolutely fucking suck at your job, so...heres a free card to bail you out!"
Think if you have an all male/female card you lose popularity due to lack of variety.
Should try to win with only using the fake free agent wrestlers
I'm gonna be honest, given how samey and dull the mainstream WWE superstars are, I probably would watch this show over the main WWE franchise stuff. Just a bunch of awful actors with weird gimmicks is exactly my taste.
Now you say it, yeah that'd be much more fun haha
@@DiamondLobby It is a bit telling from a design perspective that WWE doesn't allow you to lose fans in the MyGM mode lol
I like using custom drafts, and in each ive either set Kyle as a main superstar with high popularity, or as a straight up Legend
Twice you showed a screenshot showing there were no free agents to sign, and both times Adrian Buck was right there available on a permanent contract.

I wish you had actually spectated these matches!

So this is where all the Kyle Slickman love began…
How can I also use the fake wrestlers like Tim Burr in WWE Universe mode
Still a better show than Control Your Narrative
Bigger venue and audience than the debut CYN show, too.
@@firstnamelastnamesb CYn does not need a venue or an audience.... or rules.......... or sense

What's with all the abuse this "Control your Narrative" is getting?
It hasn't even started yet right?
Does wrestling the matches in my gm mode increase the star ratings or at the very least get a better star rating rather than simulating it?
I think if you actually wrestled them you could get good ratings on any match, but I haven't tried it to be honest!

Saw this video idea on the specialist vid next try to finish on £0 maybe
Would it be worse if you built rivalries but never have them end just the same matches every week ?
You should try to win with the least popular stars
this is like mario coinless runs
so to really bomb you'd have the best match in the middle, and make morale low in the messages...
My aim here of course was for every match to be half star, so I didn't have a good match per se to put in the mid card aha, also I did lower the morale in the messages, I just didn't show it :)

Kyle Slickman is my new favorite wrestler... sucks the red flame got rid of his undefeated streak
Wait Shotzi the Hottest thing in WWE has a Low Popularity rating & Damn these Videos Crack me up
I don't understand this challenge. Why not just have a blank card every week?
you have to fill the matches out to be able to progress
