I’m gonna be honest, this has been one of my favorite sets in a while, and while I understand why people don’t like it, I think the mechanics are really cool and flavorful
Definitely like it in limited, and I do want several cards for some Commander decks, but it had several letdowns as well and isn't going to set the game on fire, which isn't necessarily the worst thing for a crossover set.
Nah i loved this set one of the most unique sets I have seen the only problem is that its going to struggle in commander their is just not enough cards to make a deck purely based on the special stuff of the set
As an avid D&D fan, it brings me some joy to see it in Magic. Doesn’t really matter that much to me if there aren’t any massive, broken cards in the set.
Set is cool, but that has worn off already and it doesn't do much for me, and I am excited for the new Innistrad sets to come out and will want more Modern Horizons 2 for a long time, basically until the MH3 or the next Masters set
Opened a god prerelease pack,the basic land slot was replaced with alt art foil rares.it was awesome. Was wondering if anybody else cracked one these? They'll probably have whole draft boxes like this. God boxes are back.
This set is cool! I like a lot of the cards and what they tried to do. I don't know if it's particularly special, but I don't look at the set negatively in pretty much any way. The only issue is, this set is following up the absolute masterpiece that was Modern Horizons 2 -- pretty hard to live up to!
This set. Hmmm. I am going the direction of buying singles and keeping box purchasing to a minimum. There are some great cards, but after MH2, it's very hard to justify boxes. I'd feel bad for any Standard product that had to follow MH2.
Old Gnawbone paid for one of those kits alone, well for now anyway. I pulled 3x of those Tasha's from a set box so it's definitely a bulk rare that will crash in value next weekend. Looking to sell all my stuff before it goes to zero! And as for why I even bothered? I dunno actually. I was just bored and wanted those new gobby cards since Bandit Lord is gas.
@@mcfructix7688 oh I’m sure since people and hype. . .one of the best cards in the set is leather armor but it’s common and worthless. Ward 1 with a free equip every turn is bonkers. Talk about removal killer.
Set seems really fun, but watching the pull rates and the Sealed I've played on Arena, it's really hard to get a mythic. I canceled my pre-orders except for the Holiday gift box.
To be honest, I enjoyed the limited format in Modern Horizon 2 far more than the DnD set. Just felt that treasure ramp in the R/B decks are simply too good for anything else in the limited format. As for the set theme and power level, I guess it is okay, but coming hot from the heels of MH2, I am too burnt out on buying new stuff and just want to bask in the fun of modern for a while.
I think the set is a good way for people only into DnD to get into MTG. The negativity from the community around the set probably isn't helping though. But I guess a that matters is how it plays?

I appreciate you opening these. Seeing this, I realize this probably isn't a set I'll crack. I'll stick to MH2 and the endless quest for the fetches. :)
Maybe those who enjoy Dungeons & Dragons may enjoy this set but I feel a little underwhelmed about it. I wish WotC would stick to Core sets. Continue the last two Core sets with a Liliana Core Set.
those parchment cards are definitely bland. i wasnt going to get this set but the addiction set in, and some of the cards seem cool on arena. overall, i think i would've rather seen m22.
This set is trash ... i got a collector box ...2 pre release ..and a booster bundle and im just throwing money down the drain .. ill be shocked if i get anywhere close to return .. yeah nostalgic but a garbage magic set

You weren't very enthusiastic about this set and it shows, I just couldn't watch the entire video, and your pronunciations of the cards are abysmal. That being said, nice video quality and clear audio. Not sold on being a subscriber yet though.

I am digging this, I am collecting at least one card of whole set. Not a player, I enjoy d&d and want to enjoy all the references for my games.

LOVE this set. Going to be a great draft/cube experience for years to come.

Probably just seeing it all in general. I’m not much of a limited player, more just seeing the cards I could stick in my Commander decks.

Meteor swarm is not expensive. 3 to cast, the X is for the number of targets. You could do 8 damage for 4 mana.

Eh. Set is neat but so was never into D&D. I think the class cards are pretty powerful.

It should be the same as any other traditional set. One mythics every 8 packs on average out of draft packs.
I guess we've just been spoiled lately....

I don't believe that's the right perspective. The issue isn't specifically with the D&D theme. It's more of the design and execution.
