I don't understand why don't they load in the wagon right from the harvester tractor. Grandpa always said they more you touch the product the more money you lose. Great video to watch thanks for posting!
No idea how I found this channel! But wow, awesome equipment!! I'm a farmer in Michigan and never seen a harvest like this!! That Deere pickup harvester with the clam and boom is really impressive as well as the operator and his skills!
Glad I could show you something new ! Where I live in South Louisiana it's mostly sugarcane country with some soybeans here and there. Further west they grow a lot of rice which I have a bunch of videos of. We call the Deere machine a cane loader. Some farms here still use this method for harvest (we call harvest "grinding") which I also have videos of if you're interested. Thanks for watching!
l wilton Early in August, one acre will plant 3-4 acres. September one acre will plant 5-6 acres. If you hand plant with a little lower rate, you can plant 8-9 acres from a single acre.
like Superintendent 1586, I found this channel and find it interesting. Also a farm boy I wonder WHY the harvester drops the cane on the field to be picked up by another "set of tractors" instead of the harvester putting the product onto or into collection trailers? Does the cane need to "rest" or is it the weight that makes the duplicity of equipment necessary? An after thought - - Thank God for spell checkers, you would not believe the gibberish I had type before the SC popped up and yelled "Hey stujpid" - _ SEE!!!!!!
This "wholestalk" equipment used to be used for harvest as well as planting. You stack four rows of cane on one heap , then they'd burn the cane to remove the trash leaves. With planting the leaves don't matter. There's a handful of farms in Louisiana that still harvest wholestalk. I have several videos of them also if you're interested.

Now the wheat cultivation season has started in Pakistan for which I need guidance on whether to apply fertilizer in one acre area to maximize wheat production.
Mark Lynskey nope sugar cane is a grass species they can cut it like this and have sprouts from buried rhizomes. When they harvest it they chop it into 18-24” stalks and remove all leaf that they can for easier refining.
UNIGROW Microbial Soil Conditioner for Rice Planting: 900grams per hectare. After sowing, Put 75 grams mix with fine soil or water evenly spray in 90 trays (The obvious contrast effect can be seen before seedling and transplanting), The left mixed with wet soil, fertilizer or mixed with water, spray to paddy field once transplanting as early as possible. Effect: 1, Under normal management, the roots are flourishing and the stems mature, yielding more than 30% per hectare. 2, Have a good effect on the prevention and control of rice seedling blight and bacterial wilt. 3. This plot can save 25% fertilizer in that year. Second year can save 40% fertilizer. 4. Milled rice rate can be increased by 3-5% than the general situation, that is, per hundred kilograms of rice can be more than 3-5 pounds of rice. 5. Rice in good quality, equivalent to organic rice. According to our customer’s reflection, only apply 900grams per hectare mixed with fine soil and spray to paddy field is ok, that is so easy, which also can be mixed with any kind of fertilizer, the effect will be much better once mixed with 15 pounds of humic acid per hectare, wechat :+86-18922956602

They burn it if they're cutting the cane for harvest. They don't need to burn it if its for planting.
