Today, we are taking a look back at the short-lived group "DAYDREAM". After debut, 3 members of the group left and even new additions couldn't help the group as they disbanded only 4 months after their first release.

i was such a big daydream fan since debut it was so heartbreaking to witness what happened in real time. the girls deserve so much better. they loved their fans and interacted with us a lot. i only wish the best for my girls, im glad they got out of that company who seems like they never really cared for the girls.

Another frustrating story from the world of super-small low-budget kpop companies...
Here's some extra information about the groups under Liz Ent & possible issues, if anyone's interested:
The company currently has 4 girl groups
➡ Chic Angel - Debuted in 2017. One of the few no-budget groups to have survived for a few years, moving around different companies and channels before reaching Liz Ent. They're still active as a 3 member group (2 are original members) but haven't had a single of their own since early 2019, only releasing music as part of one of Liz Ent's 'combo-groups' Chic & Idle / Chic & I's..... I swear small companies refuse to have consistent branding!
➡ ICU - Have released 2 singles which got moderate attention. One member took part in Chic & I's new single.
➡ ZeroSix - It seems Xindy is the only person active on ZeroSix's youtube channel since 5 months ago when a different member posted a vlog.
➡ Girls World - Yet another new group debuting. But instead of actually debuting they released a single as part of a collab, mixing with some members of ICU... but not all of them. Confusing inconsistent branding, as always. But they're clearly making an effort with the video quality.
Possible issues
➡ The logo and branding for Girls World oddly seems very similar to the logo for the abandoned group Daydream from this video... a coincidence? I haven't checked the members, but may be worth looking into.
➡ It seems like an odd move to debut another new girl group just at the same time ZeroSix was supposed to debut. ZeroSix had months worth of pre-debut content, but Girls World was never mentioned until the teaser for their collab MV dropped. Perhaps the group was put together hastily to cover for ZeroSix members leaving? I find it so frustrating that small companies put all their resources into debuting multiple groups instead of giving comebacks to the groups they already have...
➡ Around the the same time ZeroSix members left, a brand new Liz Ent youtube channel was created (also called Liz Ent) and the old one was abandoned without any explanation! I have no idea why they did this. There are now two Liz Ent channels.
➡ In the latest Chic & I's MV, the ICU member A-bin is the only one wearing a bikini, and there is an extended close-up shot of her chest. I'm not saying it's wrong to wear a bikini, but the way this was filmed seemed exploitative like a 'male gaze' angle, and in the video where she reacted to the MV she seemed notably uncomfortable when that shot came up. It's difficult to know how to comment about that appropriately, because it could easily sound like I'm shaming her for wearing a bikini - and perhaps she happily chose to do that, and perhaps she was totally happy to be filmed in that way! But... it makes me go "hmm" because of everything we know about this industry.
➡ Overall Liz Ent does seem to put effort into promoting their groups, even though I get so frustrated with constant name changes, channel changes and collab singles. I personally wish companies understood the power of clear, consistent branding and regular comebacks for building a fanbase.
So from this, I can't conclude anything really. I'm just noting a few things which may be worth keeping an eye on, since I was catching up on Liz Ent's artists recently. Thanks for your work with this video!

I don't know if you have seen the news ,but can you do a video on LPA Entertainment (Holics,Dustin,AngelRus). They have recently been exposed for forcing their trainees to send underwear photos to them.

I remember this!!! I remember all the gross fancams of sarang angled upwards, and she wasnt wearing safety shorts...so so many disgusting comments about them in the comment section, it was heartbreaking!!
I swear to god, there's never gonna be a better line in any video I watch than "The members all posted disbandment announcements and the official account posted an air conditioner." DayDream really took the cake for the messiest group.
It's terrifying imagining what they went through. I followed Sarang from her Switch days. DAM Ent. was... not the best company (mistreating and mismanaging ICIA and Switch) and now their affiliate, HP Ent., actively is exploiting a minor with Girl Crush. It's sad to imagine she wound up in 2 bad agencies like this. I always want to cheer for the underdog companies but, sometimes, you can't tell who's a legitimate entertainment and who's running an agency from a basement...

I will never understand this. Why do they open a new company when they don`t have any money? How is this possible? And how is it possible to mess so many things up in just 4 months? Stop opening a company when you don`t have money and you don`t know what to do. it`s that easy.

I only heard about Daydream once but I didn’t follow them or know much about them. I only heard about them because I’ve been a fan of some groups under Liz entertainment for a couple years now and I especially was waiting for ZeroSix’s debut all the way since 2020. I really enjoyed Xindy’s debut and I hope the other girls of Daydream can find success and happiness in their futures!

You should make a video about kpop(?) "happiness', they're very nugu as I couldn't find any info about them..they might be a j-pop group, but all the fancams are in korean? I found a channel after looking for sarang fancams and i found the group happiness', one of them wasn't wearing safety shorts, similar to sarang! i went to check if this was a one time mistake or a reoccurring thing and it was hard for me to tell, but their safety shorts (i couldn't even tell if that's what they were supposed to be) looked like undergarments! im searching for more info, but i worry about them and the possible sexualization going on.
