Wow, talk about a coach with an ego. You make the best player on the field block 90% of the plays. He didn’t play both ways. 12 catches!? They should have been handing this dude the ball and unleashing him on defense. 😅😢
Nah. Bro was definitely not the best player on the field. He only caught about 60% of the balls that we thrown his way. The RB rushed for almost 2,000 yards this year. Defensive coordinator didn’t trust him because Jared is very hot headed and had multiple games that he got personal fouls and stupid calls that were weren’t gonna risk on defense. He had a lot of potential in hs, and while it might not have been used the right way on the defensive side of the ball, offensively having him as a blocking TE was definitely the best option for our offense.
