Im not sure if u will read this but, The reason the crab girls attacking bear sign is bcs Bear often Chopp it meals to pieces. Since the girls memory probably messed up (or conviced to believe their cause of death is by bear, so it will be less painfull for them) they think the bear is the one who caused their death so they attack the sign 😔

Turbo granny is actually a kind granny, she went to those places, looking for those girls' spirits, just want to console them. Those "violated" girls are why turbo granny hunting all weenies that she saw. And remember ep.1 while those banana aliens tried to do something bad on Momo, turbo granny teleported to her place with phone calling? It is turbo granny saved Momo from almost "violated". Now back to the scene when the crab said, "give granny back", you can feel this line is like the crab truly treat turbo granny like their real grandmother.
Maybe that's why Turbo Granny saves Momo in first Episode and also The girls asaulted to death that's why turbo granny is obessed to weenies becase she didnt want girls to became victim by the "predatOrs"😢😢
and this episode also shows granny using Okarun's phone to somehow contact the spirits in the graveyard. so spirits can use technology in some way... also, a lot of people were confused how Momo could take all those punches on ep 2, now we can see how she blocks it

Really loving this series. It goes from hilarious to emotional and back. The family dynamic is something I can relate to lol. The soundtrack is so good: going from Rossini’s William Tell to the Can Can is peak 😂. Favourite scene was Granny waiting for the train to arrive in her territory and the victims’ souls being released. Supporting Tanjiro’s VA I see Michael!

I'm just far too happy today. This adaptation is one of the best and most soulful projects I've ever seen. It completely elevates from the manga, and it works so well. Thank you, Science Saru, you're cooking something insanely good.
oh god damn this episode was amazing, including the William Tell Overture in it done in a lofi/synthwave version was a freaking moment of genius. This is by far the best series I'm watching right now
A detail about the exchange at 13:13 ; the subtitles lose a bit of the meaning, as momo is using a lot of English loan-words slang like "respect", and turbo granny tells her to "speak Japanese properly" and tells her that using these anglicised slang confuses the elderly, which adds a bit of extra irony when she uses an English loan-word herself to call them SOBs.
Ngl this might be my fav new gen I watched ep 1 at the time was so good I hoped on the maga no spoils from me this series is unique anime and manga much love ❤
The Earthbound Spirit may have taken inspiration from the Japanese crab known as the Heikegani which have an interesting pattern on their shells that look like the scowling face of a samurai mask which many believe from the 12 century legend when the drowned samurai from the Taira clan where they somehow manifested itself onto the crabs due to the grudge they had
Whats funny is before granny says "son of a bitch" she's saying she doesnt like it when momo speaks ENGLISH (borrowed words. Granny is old fashioned afterall.) Momo said "respect" in english. so when she turns around and says son of a bitch it's real ironic lmfao I guess for the subtitles, they didn't want to do a direct translation but the meaning is about the same.
I loved this episode. The sequences with the Turbogranny were incredible and the soundtrack fantastic. Things seem to get a little more serious and the relationship between Momo and Okarun is also getting deeper.
William Tell + Orpheus in the Underworld remix'd together all over some electronic beats was NOT on my bucket list of things I'd hear in this show but god damn it worked so well.
They did really well in this episode but it happens so fast that I repeat it multiple times! This is one of my favorite chapter in the manga, btw they're making 1 episode per 1 manga chapter so far, because of what The Hottest Grandma of Today said about the dead should not trample the living and the living should not mock the dead.
Turbo Granny knows how to count. She is just using a loophole in Momo's phrasing. Momo said "count to 10 minutes". Because of the lack of actual specification as to how to count it, you TECHNICALLY can count however you want as long as you end with "10 minutes". Momo should have said to wait until 10 minutes of time passes by.
Turbo granny was just bending the rules. Momo only said "Count to 10 minutes" but because she was not specific, Turbo Granny did what she wanted Saying "count to 10 minutes" is not the same as saying "count Every second until 10 minutes of time have passed or do not leave to chase us until...
At the end there they translated it as "i hate modern words" but she really told her to speak proper japanese and not with those english words mixed in, and that's why she said , in english, "son of a bitch" i don' t understand why they chose to change that, feel like they tried to dumb it down.
