He also supposition the repayable period should within repayable period of 20 years take into the accountable and affordable ownership of his age of 30 years on the time of his application.....Shit is one word to describe his speech.
He says 2002 too many flats, so government slow down building, then demand surged and government start building more flats again in 2010. That is because during this period the US went to war continuously and causes the economy to be unpredictable. As everyone can recall, in 2001 there's the 9/11 September attack, the economy is hurt so there are many flats left over. After the economy is hurt and US went to war, no one can predict accurately how fast it can recover, and the economy recovered faster then predicted and then in 2007 the economy crashed again and didn't recover till 2009. So from 2002-2010, there are problems with flats availability.
When Singaporeans are enjoying first world economy , first class healthcare , top security, there are peoples in many third world countries are struggling in severe poverty, illnesses, hunger. Don't blame HDB for not be able to provide you a flat if you are reluctant to earn a family income of more than one thousand dollars. As we are considering whether to have abalone or century eggs teochew mue for dinner, don't blame the supplier for not be able to supply once in while. When the refugees are fleeing from their homelands preparing for a long march by foot, not even sure whether can survive long enough to reach the unknown destinations, please don't blame our MRT out of service once in a while. When the number one country in the world is having frequent gunshots, citizens are advised to stay home after nine in the evening , we are enjoying 24 hours free and save environment. When there are billions peoples are having difficulties in getting drinking water, don't kaube kaubu for not be able to buy alcoholic drinks after 10 in the evening. We are thousand times better than people in many third Word countries. Please be thankful for the good deeds done for us, please be forgiving others for not be able to meet up to our desires once in a while.
