I'm getting these figures as a complement for my other collections. For example, as bad guys for my Deadpools collection...and I'm also planning in using those tactical suit guys as the superman's army in Batman v Superman... remember those?
I got 3 figures on preorder( Dracula, Van Helsing, and the Urban Trooper) Been waiting over a year for these. Can't wait to get them, it's been the only thing holding up a stop motion project.
The modular vest ✔️💯
The neck ball and peg articulation ✔️💯
Im interested. I think they look great.
I'm 100% in on these. I'm looking forward to this new line and the other lines that FMF and BBTS have revealed to co-exist with this line.
I wish there'd be an indie company making copyright neutral superheroes or sci-fi aliens from the 30s-60s. I feel like the indie market has been over-saturated with military and fantasy/mythic beast warriors at this point.
this company have shown what they have planed for this line werewolf's a sasquatch with a mini gun and more monster and characters are coming funny enough there's a superhero type guy which is inspired In the pulp era heroes so if the line does well you can expect a lot more of variety
right?.... I think you could make much cooler versions of these guys using classified parts and painting them up nice. I don't really see the point. The IP isn't original enough either it's just recycled Universal monsters stuff using characters that don't belong to them.
@@josray2557The Universal Monsters were not original. Those character's came from classic books. Personally I like a modern interpretation of those classic characters. If that's not for you I respect that.
@@perceivedvelocity9914 Actually you are wrong. The characters were given a face by universal and that is what they are using... Mostly. Invisible man, Dracula, Frankenstein aesthetics. Almost the steampunk look that was used in Universal.
Using them for my Joes and kitbashing, especially the multicam ones.
I agree with the drop down joints on the hips that they don't add much in a regular sitting or raising legs porition but can you compare the articulation in a cross sitting position or a figure 4 sitting position, I like posing my figures that way sometimes so maybe the drop down joint makes a big difference in these specific positions?
It just looks like a Valaverse figure down to a T.
This just looks like a better action force figure (sorry not sorry bobby) I'm not that into the whole modern military figures but it looks cool.
I kinda like it.
Loved White Wolf RPGs back in the day ( vampires, werewolves, mages and ghosts)
Fits nicely with Vet William
I like the line, but I just want to add them to my Joe and Vala collection.
These look great. Even with the flaws, I mean let's face it, there's no perfect figure, I think it's a great fig. Just wish they'd stop being pushed back for release.
This could easily be snuck into the classified line.
I was thinking a cross between Action Force and NECA, as opposed to Classified and NECA because his joints and weapons don't have the consistency of a warm gummy bear, but his paint and accessories are very well done.
Nah. Definitely not Action Force. The joints on this figure actually move.
Man I got a couple of these guys preordered I’m stoked
Line has potential. I just hate the holsters most 1/12 companies make.
Even Joy Toy at 1/18 makes better drop down holsters
I'm gonna use him in so toy photography fighting again the veteran William werewolf figure. Hopefully I'll get it this month lol, it says pre orders early October.
Thsnks.
They look cool but there are way too many other toys out these days to spend money on these for me
I ordered a couple of these figs!
That is a lot of extras. Nice paint job.
This slaps 😂❤
I gotta have it!
Honestly I'm sorta interested in the monsters like Dracula, Forgotten King, and other monsters or monstrous characters alongside maybe a few human character, but the latter is a maybe.
Can t wait to get my hands on this, Ive been waiting since Joefest 2 years ago.
The kids would say “this is exotic, fam”
The rifle has a pistol brace on it😂
I’m getting this to be a “common soldier grunt” for pics to get beat on by super heroes/villains😅
When are these coming out? They have been on pre order forever?
I hate drop down hips too!
Here we go again
Another upstart company that nails it outta the gate , meanwhile... HASBRO
If I collected 6" I'd be a very happy camper, but I started with 7" horror stuff and moved to 7" McFarlane and such.
Pretty sure there's a big untapped market for 7" stuff
I'm not so sure about the face sculpt and decco. The diaphragm joint us ugly. Drop down hips are unnecessary.
Now for the positive. Some nice sculpted details and paint. A nice range of hands and accessories.
I like the idea of this line. But don't care most designs for the characters.
I just want to be honest with you that the first time I watched your review I feel like I don't like you because you sound like judgemental, but the longer I watched all your reviews now I understand your point. Thank you for your honesty!🙏 Can I ask you a favor? I would like you to review the female figure I'd like to pick from Action Force called Gemini, I have read a lot of bad comments about that figure that the face sculpt is not good and it's not worth to pick etc. So I wonder if I pick that Valaverse Gemini figure or not? I need your opinion as a honest reviewer. Thank you man!🙏 I'm your new subcriber
I’m interested in it for gi goes
I bought him and Dracula to go` with my Blade and Whistler figures. They're fantastic, I have a few of their other figures on order to. I intend to use them generically. Fresh Monkey is definitely doing great work.
The weapons are made by Gridiron Studios
Delcan Van Helsing the Ancestor of Abraham Van Helsing the Great Great Great Great Grandson of Victor Van Helsing
They look good. But im not much of a soldier collector aside from stuff like clone troopers
Fresh Monkey makes them, and BBTS distributes them, no?
Sorry but I’m still stuck on Hugh Jackman as Van Hellsing
Great terrible movie
I feel like he needs a big fluffy hat or something 🤔
I'm somewhat new to this smaller 6" scale. You seemed particularly underwhelmed with the articulation. What manufacturer would you say would get high praise on articulation and other areas that you didn't like on this figure? This isn't a troll, genuinely curious what reviewers in this scale find top notch in the categories you mentioned.
jada has being doing great with the street fighter line check fei long he have excellent articulation and is an example of well implanted ball joints and the use of soft and hard plastics (or PBC)
To add onto the above, JADA's Chun-Li has a _phenomenal_ torso joint, to the point where she can stretch _ever_ so slightly and _touch her own toes_ with her flat palm hands. I've not seen that in a 6" action figure before. And JADA's Street Fighter stuff is at $25 USD MSRP too (AFAIK, $34.99 CAD for me)!
The more generic soldier man looking figures the better imo
Nope, I like my horror more classic looking. Van Helsing as Mr. Soldier Man does not appeal to me.
Agreed, wish he came with a wide brim hat rather than so many armor pieces, but adding a custom trench coat and removing the armor can probably make him look a lot better
I mean, he's a descendant of the og Van Helsing, Or at least it seems that way 🤔
i am the first
Boring and uninspired
