Yay for weekly again! A Ben, Emily and Alan video was always the high point of my weekly watching of TH-cam videos. It's you guys, Vanessa and Zephyr's Mindful Narrowboat channel, and Danni and Joe that make my narrowboat viewing schedule each week. However, NOBODY has Benny's music except you. His style fits your lifestyle so perfectly, it's hard to describe. You two should have either an episode, or a part of each video where you read or tell us about the history of the areas you visit. You're quite entertaining as teller's of adventures!
speaking of being addicted to our phones - I got rid of all my social media accounts in 2019. I will admit that it was incredibly difficult for the first year. In the first six months I would sign back in and just look at Facebook and Instagram, but then I gradually stopped doing that. I remember thinking that if anyone wanted to contact me or say happy birthday or something like that then they could just call or text me. I’m sorry to say that besides some (but not all) of my direct family, only ONE old school friend has sent me a birthday text every year. No one else has reached out. Either I’m a shit human, or people are just totally reliant upon their social media accounts for basic communication and special occasion reminder purposes.
These days I only have TH-cam. That’s it.
However it means that I get to catch up with you three lovely beings (Alan included of course).
This is my story. Thanks for reading and for sharing your adventures.

Getting to the pastry shop looked a bit of a mission but worth the sacrifice. I reckon you two have got wibbly wobbly luck like me which always comes good in the end. A "Ben and Emily" weekly again= Yay 🙂
Remember many, many years ago going to St Ives and spent a week sleeping in my car, a friend of ours smuggled us into a hotel she was working in, for showers. Cheapest holiday I've ever had 😂
Brings back happy memories of camping holidays in Cornwall, Tintagel is fab as is St Nectans, I used to have a friend with a cat the same colour as Alan, she was known as the Branston pickle cat x

Emily has beautiful facial bone structure.
Spent many holidays in Devon and Cornwall as a child in the 50s/60s. Tintagel was a favourite and my Dad did a lot of surfing around the area. Back in those days King Arthur’s seat and around was free and we could run around everywhere, a bit like Stonehenge, we have many photos of us three kids sitting on the stones. I absolutely love the whole area!
Penzance is fantastic. Great pubs, great people.
We wished we had more time there! We will have to go back 🤗

Lands End's a dump (like John O Groats) but, yeah, worth doing once.
Nearby Lizard Point is the most southerly point on mainland Great Britain and more civilised.
The pastries were amazing! You do show us other great savoury food that you cook.

So Great!!! what a fun adventure! on my list to visit again! ! I was at Tintagel in 1977. I was so entranced by the histories of King Arthur and Merlin. The bridges were not there then. Thank you for the memories. Glad to hear you will be filming more. You both look very well and happy. I love watching Allan and hearing her purr.

It's a beautiful place to live or visit with some stunning scenery and coastline, and beaches.
I am fortunate to live above the harbor in Newquay with stunning views. Next time you visit get in touch, it would be great to meet you both and I could organise a couple of gigs for Benny... we would love to see you perform here mate.

Here in Northern Michigan (Copper Harbor area) we have oodles of Pasty shops but only a couple of them are the real traditional style. The miners here (European) would always take them down with them for their lunch. I love them as they are basically a meal in a pie form. So yummy. Your music is always so calming... great work Benny.

Penzance is brilliant, my papas down that way in his van 🚐 and that pastry shop is amazing !!! I miss it so much ❤
highly recommend off season … when you go to stives visit blaas burgerworks! I would walk from the midlands to stives for that it’s well worth it. the sunflower burger rocked my world!!

I just loved seeing the country side and have actually visited Tintagel and Penzance 42 years ago. Would have loved to try those yummy pastries.

Hi, The £5 overnight parkup does have a £2 credit card shower and toilet.
i live in washington state usa..... thank you for going to many historical places and showing the beautiful old building styles of old england . how exciting to see the long boats and canels. you speak so beautifully in your english accent that i can understand everything you say. i love your pastry tours. we sure have dull pastry were i live. i love allen too. cant wait to see you every week

Hi Em, Ben. Lovely to see you enjoying Cornwall. Ham and Faye were in that cove carpark .. possibly the same time as you. The "castle' is King Arthurs Castle Hotel, I remember it from when we took you to the battle of Camlann re-enactment.

Love Cornwall. I marginally prefer the Lizard Peninsula to Lands End, less commercialised. Nice hippy vibe, I think you two would love it. I usually use the Silver Sands campsite near the Goonhilly Earth Station. A nice walk from there to a beautiful bay & beach.

Love the content as always peeps.... ❤ Little tip - Put your phone in a tub with uncooked rice for a few days....i am regularly dropping nynphone in the local canal ehile fishing and it works 8/10 times.....
I always enjoy the mellow, calm, sincere and yet playful feeling your videos evoke.
Even a leak and a wet van are experienced calmly. You are both very definitely 'half full' folks versus 'half empty'.

I did a holiday in Cornwall in a high roof LWB transit (it was huge!) and we filled every lane we went down 😅 Luckily everyone we met had no issues reversing 😉 If you go back check out the Lost Gardens of Heligan, it’s beautiful and there’s so much to see!

Boscastle’s Museum of Witchcraft is worth a visit.
I went to St. Ives when I was about 12 years old. Had a fantastic time there. Hope you make it there soon. This trip looked wonderful. What a great way to take a nice little break!

Hi, Ben and Emily. Just a suggestion. If you head down to Cornwall again, and you have the time, a trip around Devon for a couple of days would be well worth it. I spent a week in Devon and visited Cornwall as well. Really enjoyed it, especially the pasties! Been down there twice. It's like a different setting to Cornwall. Love all your videos. So interesting.
Watching this brought back a lot of memories of annual aching legs from the 90s Cornish holidays 😂

Great vlog. When you gi back to cornwall have a look at Mevagissey, (small fishing village, ) and cadgewith cove, an even smaller fishing village. Iv been going to cornwall at least once a year for over 60 years! My favourite place on earth🙂❤.
Another good place, a clifftop walk from Mevagissey is Gorran Haven. It's a great place to be at high tide!!
The Bridge at Tintagel is actually two half bridges with a gap in the middle.
I love it when you take us on your van adventures - you always manage to find the coolest little hidden gems! Those pastries looked incredible!!

Lizard point is well worth a visit, nice cafe called Wavecrest, they do lovely scones with jam and cream and great coffee plus it's not as busy as Lands End.

Love Cornwall but these days we tend to go in the Winter especially if visiting places such as St Ives as it just gets very busy.
I have to eat at least one Cornish pasty a day when there. Even had one pinched by a Seagull in St Ives.

Just been to St ives last week in August, was busy ,but was so lucky the waves on the main beach All week were awsome ,busy body boarding with loads of people, I am not a crowd person but every one was big smiles and have so much fun,me and my adult son had the best time and loads of pasties we love the penggenna pasties shop and they have a shop in Tintagle .
Thanks for sharing your travels to Cornwall. I've not visited Tintagel before and the cove where you swam looked lovely.
If you get to visit again Minack theatre near to Porthcurno, Mousehole and Newlyn all worth visiting - we've been many times having relatives who live just outside Penzance.

You went through Treknow, I used to live there. The campsite for a fiver overlooking the Camelot Hotel is one of my favourites. Those lanes are my daily drive in my Transit Campervan, the Port William pub at Trebarwith is great, what a view of the beach when the tides out. Still only live half an hour from Tintagel
