Better hurry. At some point in the future some types of batteries will not use Lithium at all. Also, EVs are not the only use for batteries. Grid scale storage might require more batteries than cars at some point. In the short term Lithium could do well because battery makers are using up their stockpiles they developed during the shortage scare.

@@lilbaz8732 Yep, we are already using the first generation sodium battery. Just like LFP they will keep getting better.

Piedmont recommended by 9 brokers as at end of 2023 . Expecting the price to triple in 2024. Maybe time to do more research and buy in . Thanks for the video

it's stock is at 17 now and dropping. It's a bad idea to invest in battery commodities yet, as battery technology is not well developed. Tomorrow we might get lithiumless, sodium batteries. Why risk money on lithium now?

Thanks Nick . Might be at bottom very soon. Worth just keeping on your watchlist .
Market sentiment through futures #lithium carbonate prices in #China is generating upward price pressure on the Chinese spot market which, in turn, is contributing to the revival of Big 4 #lithium companies' stock prices. Futures Li prices influence stock prices via spot prices. PLL has a few major developments set for 2024 . Could see a rebound in the share price mid to end year

Wouldn't lithium be better compared to another energy source like oil? Lithium is plentiful and all around the world. It seems like a sustainable energy source. Especially once the machines that mine the lithium run on clean energy.

The bubble burst but the price is still double what it was in 2010... And most companies are still profitable at 10,000/USD.... One company said it's all in cost was 2500/USD... So yeah... The margins are still there...

@HelenNorton wouldn't say he hardly nailed it. Lithium is an industry net positive, and most stocks are trading from 5 to 10 p.e. Fundamentally, I would say that's a pretty stable market.
