AIRCRAFT IDENTIFICATION TIMESTAMPS Took me forever to get around to this but here you go! All the aircraft types in this video identified. TH-cam was being difficult and wouldn't allow me to post this any other way. Hopefully it's not too hard to navigate. Please let me know if you have any corrections... I checked everything pretty carefully but hey, I'm not perfect. @@OHAREAVIATION BEAUTIFUL, Jay! Thank you. I'll check the list over carefully on your behalf! Did you use your "eyeball" or the "N-number" to ID the aircraft?
Alhamdulillah baik Terimakasih atas informasinya salam semua atas kunjungan nya Anda bisa terlaksana dengan baik untuk terus maju dan berkembang berjalan dengan lancar semua urusan nya Amin
Before 9-11 I used to hang out at the end of the runway off avation blvd. You could literally park 200 feet from a 747 as it hammered down for take off... the rumble of the ground.... the sound ... the smell... great memories
I HAV DONE THE SAME AT LONG BEACH CA. THE GUYS N I WUD WATCH THE AIR FORCE PLANES TAKE OFF B4 WORK. NOW THAT I DONT TRAVEL I KNOW WHAT U MEAN.THE SOUND MAKES ME MISS ALL THE TRAVEL. HAVENT FLOWN IN A LONG TIME. I MIGHT BE SCARED NOW. Maybe someday.
Great job. So many different, fascinating airlines and designs to look at. The wild life plane was pretty wild. Like night shots with planes flying directly overhead and watching them land from that perspective.
This is just what I was looking for. It is overwhelming. THANK YOU. It's disorienting: it's not slow motion, but there's something slow motion about it. It's such a demonstration of power--the scale of it is so humbling. // Now, I just want to see a video of Fed Ex planes or 1) Fed Ex planes, 2) DHL planes, and 3) UPS planes.
Thanks for posting this. Here in St. Louis prior to 2000 TWA, AA and SW were the major carriers flying in and out of Lambert Intl. After AA bought out TWA (my dad is a retired TWA captain) it's been them and SW mostly as well as some regionals and UPS and Fed Ex. Since 2000 the airport has been a lot quieter. We used to have a lot of international flights when TWA was around. We do get a fair share of military traffic. Boeing F-15's and 18's are built here and Scott Air Force Base is right up the road. The big airports on the east and west coasts, Chicago and Atlanta get all the heavy commercial traffic. Thanks again for posting.
The push-back sequence starting at 2:14:44 is very interesting! It looks as if the front nose wheel is one of the points of contact. The nose wheel is allowed to rotate while being engaged.
I love watching the airplanes on my spare time. I also downloaded the rada on my phone so that every plane that is that is passing over my house I know where it came from and where it's going. Thanks to you all keeping us inform and out of stress.
Public comments. Thanks you so much for sharing your wonderful video with me. I really appreciate and enjoyed watching. Thanks to u tube for helping humanity 🙏🙏🙏.
Awesome plane spotting. Im from LA and I love going there just to relax and think while i watch the airplanes take-off and land. Its truly spectacular. What site did you spot from?
That Qantas A-380 @ near beginning of video wins the smoothest landing award... kinda like which diver at a diving event didn't make a splash when they enter the water - hardly any friction smoke rose from the landing gear tires as it touched the runway
I am 83, my flying days are over, except for brooms. I never flew a plane, but flew in one. Now essentially penniless, but apart from various pains of old age and post-accidents, my feistiness and various experiences recognize your aficion, and the greatness of your work, Jay. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and the top of my broom.
God bless the pioneers of aviation. While everyone is amazed we got planes up into the sky (as am I!) I'm more amazed at how they figured out how to land them!
The story of human flight is one of the most fascinating to me personally... so many challenges and obstacles have been overcome to make flight as we know it today a reality... Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for your introduction in the description. I feel exactly as you do, because we need to appreciate the fact that we're so privileged to be able to travel far and wide today. For those who complain that the noise of airplanes is too much, because they live under a flight path, all I can say is take it or leave it. We all have choices, and if we choose to buy a house in a flight path, we'd better make sure we do our homework before we move in, and make sure we learn about the environment around where a house is located. Sometimes, the price is low, because people kept moving in and out without knowing what to expect before they even moved into the house in the first place. I live under the approach path for PDK Airport, and I love hearing those business jets. I try to guess what type of airplane is flying over me, but I've still got a lot to learn, because there are so many. Thank you for bringing us these marvelous videos! I also can't thank you enough for all the information you include. I miss flying so much, but hopefully, next year, I'll finally get to travel after many years. Keep up the wonderful work! Heather
Heather, Sorry for the late reply. Thanks so much for watching! Aviation has been a passion of mine for most of my life and I love to share the joy I have for air travel with as many who I can. I wish you safe, wonderful travels in the near future! - Jay
We have to bear in mind something that is a bit of a horror and and the downside of air travel. That is when you look at a map demonstrating the daily flight patterns crisscrossing the United States connecting City to City by using red lines. The United States is almost solid red from the concentration of the red lines and we've had it that way for years. But now we have China and it's emerging middle class of about 300 million that will be tapping into 3 billion + population to turn them into hungry travelers using fossil fuels to fly those Jets two destinations daily. And don't forget about India with their 200 million middle class tapping into their million-and-a-half population doing their damage to the environment after the USA past and present populations have done their damage... I just mentioned only three countries now factory in all the other ones... I think we're toast
Thank you Jay, fir this video the effort you put into it is clear. Loved every minute of it. I could watch again and again! Great to see all the plain ehnthusiastics out there, I am not the only who won’t get tired to watch landing departures
This was filmed with a Sony AX53. Love the camera, very smooth operation. Clear picture. Simple functionality but with lots of features. Highly recommend.
I enjoy "planespotting". You had a great perspective on the action, at LAX. As a watcher(only) of YT videos, I am curious how long it takes to upload a file this size to YT? What internet speed would be considered a "minimum"? Thanks!
David Duganne This video took a week pr so to put together and edit after filming all day for 3 days. Glad you like it! I am not sure the exact specs for the internet. Thanks 4 watch!ng
Many thanks for posting this marvelous video, Jay! I can see by the results, you really know what you are doing with regards to the technical and artistic aspects of videography. I am envious of your skills. The amount of personal time involved must have been enormous. And your hints about the filming (despite no film involved!) location are appreciated.
Michael H. Thanks 4 watching! I can’t say the exact location but there are some very good hotels just east of LAX that welcome planespotters. Yes, I took 3 days to film this and then a week to process the video but I’d say it is well worth it.
Okay now this is really amazing, Jay!! 3 hours filled with stunning airlines and planes filmed by you, wow.!! Lovely stuff! What an awesome spot there, lovely view on the approaches and landings. Really good work man! :)
Incredibly good, for so many reasons. Different views, time of day, airside, weather & so on. Just enough of everything! Perfect; absolutely loved every minute of this. Best one I've seen in a long while, & believe me, I watch alot!
Kate fromaust Very happy to hear such a compliment! I do take much time and effort to make these videos and only wish i could do more. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching!
I seem to spend more time in the air then on the ground. Also seems to be where i get the best sleep. This is very relaxing and oddly comforting video. Thank you
Forgive me for my English. His videos are an inspiration to aviation enthusiasts. I'm a brazilian spotter. I hope to go to Los Angeles to film at this airport.
The thing that is most awesome about this video is at 54:42 when the Atlas Air is taking off. You can see the science in why these huge planes actually fly. The lift created over the wing pulling the plane into the sky. I know and understand why, and how these things work yet even though I see them flying every day it's still an awesome thing, and it's so damned common.
Science is a wonderful thing! An I agree there are a lot of things that are so common and yet so wonderful. We often just don't have the time to stop and take note. Thanks 4 w@tch!ng
@@OHAREAVIATION I'm lucky that way, I got to retire when I was in my mid 30's. I see what most people call boredom as another activity to be enjoyed. Lately we've had a lot of the Marine Ospreys flying over Los Angeles. Watching those transition from flight to vertical landing mode is something to see.
Outstanding video, please make more of these long videos. I love them, I use them for background viewing on my 75" Samsung during the days. And at night when i have trouble to sleep, i watch these birds land and takeoff on my phone with hedsets, It help me relax ... Awesome video!!! BIG THUMBP UP! More more more ... Great job! T%he longer the better......... Thanx
Thanks for watching! I've been told by quite a few that they use my videos as white noise to sleep to... not surprised! I will certainly try to do some longer videos in future. More planned for future.
I enjoyed your work very much. Thank You! I always dreamed of captaining a big jetliner. It's an impossibility for me now. What a demanding profession it must be! So impressive! Thanks Again!
Excellent video in all aspects, including the description!!! As simple as that. I particularly love the fact that the registration numbers are clearly visible in the daylight shots. Makes for easier stalking..., I mean tracking the aircraft in the present time. 😁
Xavier Blackman Thanks for watching! Haha yeah, there wasn’t enough room for all of them in the description so i decided to write an essay of a description instead 😆 XD
thanks for watch!ng I do indeed try to make each clip the best I can make it... sometimes actuality is a little different but at least it looks good overall.
Este avión de Emirets, está bonito es muy significativo por los animales plasmados en el mismo., ya hacia tiempo que no lo veía. Saludos a Todos Ustedes. Por su lindo Trabajo.
Thanks for watching! I've been told by quite a few that they use my videos as white noise to sleep to... not surprised! I will certainly try to do some longer videos in future.
A real Marathon of aviation Jay.It's been a long time since you uploaded videos like this.Wonderful work and by the way did you meet speedbird in KLAX?Cheers
thanks for watch!ng I really love making these kinds of videos but they do take a looooong time to make and edit. Did not get to meet speedbirdHD... he's a rare bird.
I love L.A.X. airport, they got a very nice carpet floor! I remember I layover there with my older sister and our nephew for the first time back in August 2007 when I first visited Boston. Then again I layover in L.A. when I first visited Thailand in May 2018 last year. I had been to California before, I've been visited there in a year of 2007 of June to July. I been to California 3 times (2007, 2012 and 2017). I've been visiting Los Angeles, Long Beach, Stockton, Sacramento and San Francisco.
Keith P Thanks 4 watching! Can’t say the exact location but there is a good location called Clutters Park and another one at the In-N-Out burger in Westchester.
AIRCRAFT IDENTIFICATION TIMESTAMPS
Took me forever to get around to this but here you go! All the aircraft types in this video identified. TH-cam was being difficult and wouldn't allow me to post this any other way. Hopefully it's not too hard to navigate.
Please let me know if you have any corrections... I checked everything pretty carefully but hey, I'm not perfect. Enjoy!

Before 9-11 I used to hang out at the end of the runway off avation blvd. You could literally park 200 feet from a 747 as it hammered down for take off... the rumble of the ground.... the sound ... the smell... great memories

Great job. So many different, fascinating airlines and designs to look at. The wild life plane was pretty wild. Like night shots with planes flying directly overhead and watching them land from that perspective.
Thanks for watching!! Sorry it took a while for me to your comment.

Love seeing our Air New Zealand All Black livery B77W, and that TN A343 taking off into the sunset at 32:23 was stunning
Thanks for watching! I certainly had a great time filming this one and hope to return and make a similar video someday.
Thanks 4 watch!ng glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks again for posting.
daveinstlouis Thanks for watching! Best of luck to you in St. Louis. 😎👍
The push-back sequence starting at 2:14:44 is very interesting! It looks as if the front nose wheel is one of the points of contact. The nose wheel is allowed to rotate while being engaged.

Very nice collection of aircraft and an epic video
Thanks for watching, mate!
Heather
Heather,
Sorry for the late reply. Thanks so much for watching! Aviation has been a passion of mine for most of my life and I love to share the joy I have for air travel with as many who I can.
I wish you safe, wonderful travels in the near future!

Jay’s O'Hare Aviation & HD Plane Spotting You're welcome!
Thank you Jay, fir this video the effort you put into it is clear. Loved every minute of it. I could watch again and again! Great to see all the plain ehnthusiastics out there, I am not the only who won’t get tired to watch landing departures
Thanks 4 watch!ng : )

Awesome video! I could watch it time and again. Thanks por posting it!
Glad to hear! Thanks 4 watch!ng
There’s something both relaxing and fascinating about plane spotting.
Very good! Thanks.
Billy Thanks 4 watch!ng. Sorry for the late reply.
Good video!
Thanks for watching!
I loved those mountains in the background even more than the planes!
GoldGhost Games And Stuf Mountains + city landscape + planes... can’t go wrong!
Nice photography . What kind of camera is this ? I want one.
Really spectacular spotting! Highly enjoyed watching all the different airlines and heavies!
thanks for watch!ng I had a lot of fun making this one.

thanks so much for watching, mylos!! I don't get out too often but when I do I certainly try to make great stuff.
The view of the mountains is awesome
26 Praise the Lord. God bless you 86. Thank you.
Blessings from Brisbane, Australia
Thanks 4 watch!ng
This can be very relaxing and therapeutic, much like listening to rain/thunder to relax or sleep.
Perhaps that is why I have so many people say they sleep to it.
Wow, the Alaska Air livery at 10:14 is absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks 4 watch!ng
Brilliant video and fantastic description too. Big thumbs up Jay:D
Mraviationguy Thanks for watch!ng, my friend!
Much appreciate it and a big thanks for uploading and catching these footages
Thanks for watching! You are very welcome. I had a great time filming this, possibly one of my most favorite spotting sessions ever.

Congratulatios again Jay, you certainly do an outstanding job that's highly appreciated for sure
Thanks always, my friend Jorge! I certainly try.
I seem to spend more time in the air then on the ground. Also seems to be where i get the best sleep. This is very relaxing and oddly comforting video. Thank you
Thanks for watching!! Seems like this has been the case for many who have watched (and slept) thru this video.
i did not know that thare are a lot of variety painted airplanes very colourful from one to another like birds of paradise. amazing
Thanks 4 watch!ng
Thumbs up and thanks. This is possibly the best spotting video I've ever seen. Excellent camera work bro...
David Goldstein Many thanks! Lots more planned.
Forgive me for my English.
His videos are an inspiration to aviation enthusiasts.

Your viewing spot is utterly spot on, where about is it?
Thanks for watching! I will not give a specific location. But I can say there are some parking garages along Century Blvd that offer a good view.

Love seeing the unique aircraft liveries.
Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for watching! This video is dedicated to people like you.
Fantastic shots at Los Angeles International Airport mate

Proud to call it our national carrier😍🇳🇿
Superb compilation Jay. Three hours & fourteen minutes of pure aviation.
Thanks 4 stopping by! i wish I could've made another like this and perhaps in future I will be able to.
Aircraft identification timestamps have been pinned in the comment section.
Hope it is helpful! Thanks for your patience.

This is therapy, I have terrible anxiety flying. I've flown many times before and I still hate it. "Like Floating Giant's"
Thanks for watching! :) I wish you all the very best conquering your fear of flying... it can be disconcerting at first.
No,hrůza!v září 2019 jsem letěla poprvé do Turecka - adrenalin ,dobře to dopadlo ,ňáké nouzové přistání ,čoudy apod.to bych asi taky včas vyskočila.
Great video. You say the video is not to be used in any way without permission. Does that include downloading to watch at a later date?
nfsdrive That is allowed. Thanks for asking. If shared in public please cite appropriately.
3 Hours......!!
Yeah...!!!!!
YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHH!!!!! I do love these long videos even though they do take a long time to make.
Great compilation. Considering taking my son to LAX for plane spotting. Where exactly where you located?
Keith P Thanks 4 watching! Can’t say the exact location but there is a good location called Clutters Park and another one at the In-N-Out burger in Westchester.
