Thank you so much for styling H& M pieces which as a 72 year old retiree who still likes to dress appropriate to my ageand be modern I found this video inspiring and the pieces within my budget. I was in a car park today with my husband looking for a pay station and a fellow Parker came by and said just want to say how stylish you look! I was in a pair of beige wide leg linen pants a simple grey camp shirt ( it’s hot here in Sydney) and chunky sandals and wearing a pair of Butler and Wilson earrings which I bought from Harrodsburg in the 80s when I was a Flight Attendant. Her comment made my day ! And all inspired by you Lydia. I look and adapt your suggestions for me and learned so much. You are such a wonderful teacher. Never doubt the great work you are doing. An inspiration. ❤

You are really value for money, even if that's an oxymoron in the context of TH-cam videos. Your input on everything is on point, valuable and helpful. You are in a class of your own and I'm silently cheering you on to reaching 1M REAL -not bots- subscribers. You deserve every bit of success.

Visited H&M for the first time at the summer, arggg absolutely not, sooo disappointed. All clothes creased and threads showing, surprised Lydia is promoting the company.
Have to look carefully. I have never shopped in H&M, but decided I would buy some jeans, found on H&M online, a washed black with fabric with a stretch so normal high waist with loops stretches. Great fit and comfort and so cheap. So got a black pair. I bought some other things but sent them back. Crappy linen jacket for example.
Agreed! I live in the US and went to the first H&M maybe 15 yrs. ago. I bought a sweater dress that was such awful fabrication that it felt like sandpaper on, and I took to consign and never went back. Looking online at the fabrication of these items? No way! Shoes made of plastic and all the the poly rayon spandex or viscose- unless you are looking for fast fashion to last a season, I cannot see it. There are plenty of lines that are economical where you can find all cotton, linen etc., I just would not waste my money on this, honestly. I find Lydia’s videos the best out there and have helped me hone my eye as to what to look for to stay current, but I cannot see her wearing plastic slinggbacks! I like to mix high and low but that is a bridge too far.

Are you sure of that?! She makes her recommendation based on pictures and online reviews and we all know how ill fitting most H&M items can be, not to mention inconsistent sizing. If she liked it, she would have collaborated with H&M or at least bought the pieces with her own money.

Thanks Lydia, great video! You’re right, I can get a bit overwhelmed in-store. I used to love H&M and some of my favourite ever pieces came from there, but I feel like a lot of the fabrics now aren’t very nice. I see where one commenter is coming from that this format doesn’t give your insight into quality of the pieces, drape, texture etc but as you said, it makes no sense for you to buy things just to show people on your videos if you won’t wear them. My proportions are different to yours and I’m more gamine styling but I love to watch how you put things together.
Love H&M except for one incident I recently had with an item I ordered. I recently started ordering from them and loved everything. I think they hit it out of the ballpark with their spring pieces. I got so many gorgeous linen pieces, pajamas, ballet flats, dresses and co-ord sets. The only complaint I have is I ordered 4 colors in a pair of their linen pants. I ordered the green khacki colored ones first and they were perfect in size and length. So I quickly then ordered them in the same size in black and white. They were an inch shorter in length. But I'm keeping them and I will I'll just wear them with flats. Then I ordered them in the same size and sku number in a beige color. They were a completely different pair of pants. The waistband was very narrow where the others had a wide elastic waistband and the heml ength was 3 inches shorter. The material was completely different also. It was a whole different style of pants. You could see they stuck a new label on the plastic bag over the initial one. When I held it up to the light. It had a whole different sku number. I am not leaving a good review. That was very disappointing to say the least. But Ty for another great video.
I really love how you give styling options with each piece, it's so helpful. As you mentioned I have many similar pieces already in my wardrobe, but wear them with the same items together. This is so helpful to get ideas to mix it up a bit. Thankyou, love your channel ❤ x
I love H&M Lydia. They have some great affordable pieces that aren't over the top in price. I appreciate this type of video so much, because those of us in the US have access to purchase these pieces as well. So many times I've wanted to purchase items in your videos but they don't ship to the US. Ty for this video. I loved it and I hope that you bring us more like this.

Love your content, but why are you and so many influencers using those annoying handheld microphones? Very distracting, IMO, and it does not improve the sound. In fact, it gives off an echo, and the sound pops throughout.

I usually buy my clothes from hm because is in my budget but the last 2...3 orders were a bit disappointing. The numbers are a mess, half too big half too small and I wear the same number for years so I know what number to order. Also the quality is lower than it was, and you can't tell from a photo. To conclusion I would prefer to watch a video with you trying them instead of show us the same pictures as the website. I can scroll the website at my own. I get that you want more quality clothes now, half of your clothes now are at much higher range than hm (150 euros for a jumber, 300 euros for boots etc) but I just don't find very helpful that kind of videos. You really can't tell from a picture how something fit or the quality of the fabric.I really appreciate the time you spending on your audience and I am tell all these with love ❤

Thanks Lydia, we also have H&M in the southern US. ❤ I really enjoy their higher end pieces such as the ones you recommend. I noticed that H&M actually has two differing categories of merch, with two different price points. I bought a wonderful pair of black sailor trousers with the gold nautical buttons on front. I wore them on a winter holiday recently and got so many compliments. I also bought pointed toe sling backs on your advice, in black leather, which look great with almost everything. I like them with my pale wash jeans and a casual sweater (you call it a jumper) 😊. They really dress up any outfit. BTW, congrats on your new home! You work hard and deserve your success!

Hi Lydia. last week I was in H&M in the States and picked up the cream jumper you feature here. Their clothing is pretty decent and the price point is a good value for people on a budget.
I have learned to shop in h&m. It took time for sure Your videos help so much. Like the mary jane. Ill add another black pair to my collection. If ypu wpuld break down the jean mystery. Low rise? Med rise? Inseam? Stright? Carrot? Oh my. H&m has them all but which will be a good fit?? 😢
Love the crop cardigan jacket look bought one at start of our winter and then grabbed two more in the winter sales love the look! I did see a lovely cream one in H&M on Saturday very affordable but as I had my cream one from a higher end fashion store just admired it but definitely a piece that I would have grabbed as an addition if I didn’t have that colour already ❤

I have a pair of Mary Janes but not wearing them at the moment. They feel too cold on there own for daytime Would you wear black tights with them? What denier . 10 or much heavier . Want to wear them because once the weather warms up i be in sandles.
