Such an abrupt cut to black after learning a great method of keeping more gold. You’re a genius because I’ll probably always remember 60 grit on the miller table. Now I just need to get a miller table and concentrates. 😁
Well, in the off-season I am looking forward to the video where you run your buckets of cons. lol Maybe for fun run them bit by bit and maybe make a contest out of it?

Definitely the first time l've ever heard anyone suggest ruffing up a miller table. I know those self healing craft cutting boards are often suggested for a DIY miller table, but l never thought a used one might work better than a new one.
Great tip! I have a miller table with a rough surface built in (gold scorpion)... But I still have 2% losses. I recover most of it on a second run. Sometimes the gold is shaped in a way that doesn't want to stay. Still better than a blue bowl.
ohhh shit..that sandpaper worked wonders , thats a fair amount of looses dam..glad you got it sorted and figured a work around , may your pans be forever heavier bud :)
That damn Cassiterite is very inconsiderate! ;D Well done, Chris! I was think the scratches would work like the lines on a shaker table. I wonder how much of that flour gets past the sluices on the high volume high banking runs. 😬👀
I was hoping that you'd say that you had kept the stuff that you had run, so Now you can re-run it all and maybe, just maybe you will find some more little golden yummies in your leftovers!!!
Great job and discovery well done chris 💪🏼💪🏼 the bad news is your still losing gold I said it before I’ll say it again I dare you to get a 10-30x magnifier and look at the concentrates after you run them through the sand papered Miller table you will be shocked by the amount of micros still in the concentrates this is where roasting and smelting come into play then you will truly get all the gold you’ve prospected. Good thing you save those concentrates. The sand paper is truly a great discover though. I’ve found heaps of micros magnifying my tailings. Thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
Classifying is key for catching the gold in any situation. Have you tried a blue bowl before? You can be sure I will be modifying the one I have with some scratches to see if is helps.
Great job, Chris! Open sharing of knowledge is the best path. How much gold did you lose in the +50 mesh? And I second the motion for a video if possible to run all tailings and see the recovery. Great project if you cannot make it to the bush.
I use a black magic pro short Miller table. It has a neoprene material glued to the aluminum tray. The neoprene has tiny divots in it that hold onto 200 mesh. Every try one ?
And as you said it's up to the miner to figure out what we're wondering how they're losing their gold or to modify their equipment it's all equipment it's all an experiment

Dude, love the porn music. I have started looking around Canberra for some gold. I just know that when I find that first bit I will be hooked. Good to hear someone say all equipment loses gold, I dont know a lot about it but I often look at set ups and think you gota be blowing gold out the box ?
Many people don’t like mercury, but…I put my tailings in a 2 liter bottle with 1 drop of mercury. 2/3 full bottle tailing fill with water, add drop. Throw it in the back of the SUV for 6 months. It will grab a lot of gold. Either that or smelt it out.
This was actually pretty cool! I love watching them try to roll away

I coated my miller table with blackboard paint, works well.

Have you every used a spiral wheel planning machine for gold recovery and if so what did you think about it?

Jawdropping. Well done, and thats with your brain on COVID?!? Impressive!
I have alot of fine gold and flat. Gold sails like a canoe out of the gold hog multi-sluice. What kind of miller table do you use?
Great idea on the sand paper. I assume it doesn't slow the siderite?
Try also sandblasting the inner parts of your sluices , also good for rocker bottoms be surprised how much you catch on that alone
I have bucket after bucket full of powered gold..Will a miller table make it retrievable? I'm New at this...
That's a lot of candy in the long run!

Is your table chalkboard paint?
Gday Chris, do u think the xp snake skin would work on a miller table or be too turbulent?
Miller tables are to strip cons to pure gold. Anything more than a light scratch prevents this.
Correct, No one eva mentions

Does your miller table vibrate?
What brand of table do you have

Run 2 tables. Smooth dropping onto a sanded table.

can we collaborate fine gold in Myanmar, this place have gold source.

Just start a tin and gold mine!!?
Now that you've got all that nasty gold pollution out of the cassiterite are you going to smelt it down and get some tin?
If you really want to have some real fun try catching 1000 mesh on.

This is why nobody uses a miller table anymore. Very inefficient.
An extra ounce of gold a year and it only cost me 1500 hours more work.... Bargain!
I guess maths isn't your strong point. Sarcasm however. You got that down.
@@VoGusProspecting - Thanks for your accurate feedback.
So how many hours do you think that extra ounce takes to recover?
