Great pictures ! I think it could be useful to add the settings (aperture) on your photos Pierre. Many people are here to improve so it could make sense.

The Pierre Lambert 10 minute challenge is consistently one of my favorite video series. I would love to see more of the post-production following the challenge where the participant went through the pictures and explained what they were going for, which worked out and which did not, and how the keepers would be edited.

11:18 not only does it say 'no photos', she is telling you to get out because you've basically walked into her store space as if you're entitled to. Not the store front, but her business property
she is not saying "no photos". she is just saying do not enter her business area abruptly. You should have asked politly.

I think instead of going one by one everyone should go at once. Because the person who goes last gets alot of time to think for ideas and the person going first usually can't.

If you show best photos at the end of each turn that will be great. During the video it photos moves to fast.
That market has endless potential. I think it would have been cool to use that stairway coming down into the market I saw while Nelly was shooting. That would have a cool way of framing funneling your focus down into the market from an elevated position. Obviously if you would have been allowed to use the stairs. Great video though bro.

I hear you speak also little Japanese, nice. I speak also little Japanese, still learn it by myself since now 2 or 3 years. Nice pictures taken by you 3.
I think Alex is the world's framing master-really nice image compositions out there!
I mean if you have a store and some guys with a camera is driving people away from your store it'd kind of annoying. I don't think it's a good idea to do such a challenge in such a crowd space, as it's an easy way to annoyed people. If more and more people are doing street photography like that I think that people would start to ban photography at the location, Just like what they did in Kyoto. Japanese law state that you can't publish visible faces without their permission, if you want to post it online you should blur their face. Generally it's okay to take picture of people in large crowd, but you should avoid of taking photo of individuals without their permission. If someone complain about you taking photos of them it could land you up in jail, Please read the laws and rule before going to another country and doing street photography.
If you're going to do street photography in Japan, be as respectful and polite as you can

Can you point me to the law there? That's pretty interesting; I knew they're a mostly camera-shy people, but I didn't know it was illegal like you're saying it is.

Great content as always. I know you said you should aperture priority, and agree for fast situations it's ideal. I've heard some people say they will also use auto ISO too and the just use exposure compensation. Is this something you would recommend?

Hello Pierre. Thanks for your Videos. I discoverd you just a view days ago an can‘t stop watching! ;-) I personaly shot with Auto ISO and the others Settings in Manual. Good for quick shoting and you dont have to worry mutch. Did you ever tried this instead of Apature priority? All the best from Switzerland.

Do the 10 minute challenge here in the Philippines. Divisoria is a cool spot for street photography.
That looked fun. I tried doing that in L.A. and it can be daunting.
Why daunting? It's far easier to take photos in large cities because no one particularly pays attention. Shooting in smaller cities and towns is where it gets difficult.

Haha, do birds in manual exposure mode with a 150-600, manual focus. Entertaining nonetheless ;)
Yikes, it was hard to watch Nelly do manual street photography. Though she did get some good pictures, she didn't blend in to the crowd very well. A huge part of Street photography is understanding the elements and blending in... Alex was pro! He found compositions and lighting in the challenge and had spare batteries for the occasion. Great job guys!
Hi Pierre, this was your best challenge yet I have a suggestion for you, pick your best 3 images put them on your instergram page without any names for say 3 days and we can vote for the winner, you can announce the winner at the end of the video, it just adds 3 extra days for the votes to come-in. We can vote whilst you edit your video's for youtube.

I'll have to disagree brother, we were not being rude 90% welcomed us. A few didn't want photos and we respect that.
