always amazes me how modern musicians want to view everything from TODAY's overly quantized sense of view. when this came out...there weren't a lot of drummers playing like this at all. plenty of new ground broken with these beats and time signature changes. it's freaking brilliant. as for the sharp E's. hit the strings harder and that''s what happens . the hallmark of metallica... and quite a few others as well.. listen to UNCHAINED. eddie hits that super hard and he gets that super chunk feel and sound as the result. back when human beings recorded music...not machines and computers. there's a lot to be said for natural feel and sound in music. in the end...the best music is all about THAT. hendrix never had pro tools... and thank god he didn't...
They were teenagers when they wrote this album for a self taught teen drummer Lars knows just enough to get him the band 40 years that’s 1 & 1000000 for drummer with his lack of knowledge or lessons
Best album in my opinion
I just love everything about it.
After 35 years I still listen to it
I like the drumming on this album.
Yea lotsa DBL bass 🥁
I still have my Justice for All t-shirt that I purchased before the concert during this tour. Great show and better days.......
One of Kirk's more inventive solos
Very underrated song-because they’ve only played it live a handful of times in 35 years-sad but true 😜
The best song of that álbum 4 me…..
If you listen to this song with subwoofers it the beat sounds like a weird heart beat

they were not teenagers when they wrote this album.
They were in their upper 20s
Not man, they were middle 20s when they wrote this …
Hetfield was 23-24 when they wrote and recorded this album.
metallicas tuning is usually slightly sharp, which is why the E chords sound out of tune
