Thank you for giving us a free trip around Kangemi, I have been passing there for decades but I never had the chance to go inside. I have just sent you my contribution towards supporting your good work.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the support, I appreciate
Good video❤
Thank you
Also you should open a second YT channel ya Real Estate, since this channel focuses on estates generally and their history, you should do another channel sasa ya kuuza ma ploti na ma nyumba. Then you suggest a video you have done on this channel concerning that area & vice versa. Just a suggestion, but please, NO POLITICS!
No one should take offense at Kangemi being called a slum.I lived there for five years.Sure that was in the eighties, but i have occasionally gone back there for visits.Little has changed. With the exception of Mountain View and a few other places it remains very much a slum.
You mean in the 80s the place was still the same. wow
@@Villagetotowntv kwanza KBS ilikua inaingia hadi gichagi
aki ni ukweli
Kangemi has all plots with titles and landlords and very rich people. Congestion is sanctioned by the landlords. Most are capable of upgrading their plots.
Very informative, thank you
Kangemi has many rental houses millionaires because of the proximity of the town to the CBD. A lot of very high profile people are from kangemi
I think we use western terms to classify our neighborhoods, thus end up getting it wrong
Uwongo.....can you be a millionaire na you can't upgrade nyumba ikuwe ya mawe ama upgrade hiyo ya mawe iko 😂😂
GOOD MORNING MR. LONE TRAVELLER,THESE ARE VERY INTERESTING FACTS AND FIGURES ON KANGEMI, ALSO CONSIDER CREATING A SEPARATE TH-cam CHANNEL PURPOSELY FOR REAL ESTATE MATTERS.
Good morning, and thank you for the idea
Quarter of an acre in kangemi touching on way in I way going for 32m on jijji, howz that for a slum?
True, that's way valuable than most places in Kenya
Nani anaeza nunua land 32m then ajenge mabati we unamchezo😂😂😂
Kangemi is a rich Slum. Next cover Juja bro
Sure, itakam
This kangemi was the first place i set my foot when i came to nairobi for the first time.
Why did you go to a slum instead of a nicer part of Kenya?
@@intelligencehaswon5714 be greatful you had the previllage of going a "nicer" place unlike us who are trying to make something out of nothing at all.
@@iglesiaswilliams7161
You've clarified it for me. You had no choice and that's understandable.
hebu ingilia hiyo climbing lane hapo kwa bridge ukitoka na side ya town uingie hadi gichagi na uzunguke ju ni round ama uingilie waruku utokelezee hapo kwa hiyo kangemi bridge
Bythwy nilizunguka yote ni footage ikakuwa long, maybe nitaweka part 2
@@Villagetotowntv waiting
The last time I was there that briege was not there
Really? its completion will be a game changer
Kangemi my village and place of birth, Kangemi we don't sell plots everything is family owned where by its hereditary, majority they just do renting
Really? its a nice place
@Villagetotowntv yes its a good place it has grown rapidly from 2002, back at 1998 it was majority farm
You cannot afford an area to fit a bathroom or toilet in kangemi so it's a rich rich slum
Ungem namba 23
I see you
I think we label our neighborhoods from a white man's perspective. If a residential area has decent roads, accessible water and electricity and 4-walled houses whether they're mud or brick and mortar, does that fit the definition of a slum?
Weuh! a very genuine question right there. I think our minds are still colonized
usiseme ati umeenda kangemi wewe🤣😂🤣
Hahha na vile nilienda kama yote bana
@@Villagetotowntv sijaona kwenye najua 😆
