Subscribed. Had had a similar story to yours. Went to a coding bootcamp right out the gate from the military, failed out of it, was able to get my school money back for it thankfully, tried my hand at marketing, and found out people viewed me more as someone who did sales types of activities over marketing even though I generated experience for that and it was very hard to sell..so they'd offer to interview for my persistence to interview to do sales that way..which is how I realized that if I'm good at that activity, might as well get paid for it.
Still want to do marketing again but this time as my own boss down the road. I got to work in big tech with Meta in support but everything we did was basically being a sales engineer explaining how things worked, so I'm aiming to get into that through being an SDR if not right away.

Congrats on breaking into the tech industry! When you put in your filters for your LinkedIn job search were you only looking for entry level roles?
Thanks! For my filters I only did jobs that were remote, posted within 24 hours or 7 days and in the United States

Thanks Adrian! Yeah same resume for each job application. I was only applying for tech sales roles so I didn’t have to change anything

Why are you only using LinkedIn? Wouldn't using indeed and all that other stuff too better your chances of landing a job?
There’s so many jobs on LinkedIn I didn’t need another website for job applications. But you can definitely use other job boards as well
