Empire of Russia's National Anthem - Bozhe, Tsarya Khrani! Боже, Царя храни!

- "God Save the Tsar!" (Боже, Царя храни!) was the national anthem of the Russian Empire. The song was chosen from a competition held in 1833 and was first performed on 18 December 1833. The composer was violinist Alexei Lvov (Алексей Львов), and the lyrics were by the court poet Vasily Zhukovsky (Василий Жуковский). It was the anthem until the Russian Revolution of 1917, after which "Worker's Marseillaise" was adopted as the new national anthem until the overthrow of the Russian Provisional Government.
This version was slightly different, it's arranged by British composer Joseph Barnby and orchestrated by Arthur Sullivan.
Anyone recognize this from entrenched. The creators chose a very beautiful anthem for russia and at this part is where it is 1:11

@@johnkoshtariajk8888 No. Really not. He was a great family man, but a bad monarch. There are plenty other examples of better Tsars, the most prominent being Alexander II.

Trouble is Nicholas was too stupid to head events off.In that sense history overtook him, and he tried to cling to an old order that in reality had dissolved beneath his feet already. The 1913'celebrations of the Tercentenary of the Romanov Dynasty were in effect their grand pompous Requiem. Ekaterinburg, here we come! ( They were already dead, but didn't know it.)

The Russians were under equipped in ww1 and the eastern front mostly forgotten to history but the Russians fought bravely despite their lack of supplies they fought hard and that fueled the Russian bear to make its attack in 1916

Actually no, it was arranged by Joseph Barnby and orchestrated by Arthur Sullivan, both very talented composers back in the 1800s. I only transcripted the handwritten arrangement score by Sullivan himself into Sibelius and played with NotePerformer 3.

@@italoduarte2509I think what he/she meant is that Russia is bordering with China. You can go through the checkpoint in between the two nations and arrive in China, or Russia if you’re coming through from the Chinese side.
