Thank you so much sir. I am seriously so glad that you had created this exercise drill. In my 8 years of therapy and recovery from a chronic hip pain near the sciatica, I have never experienced such an amazing stretch on my hips. God bless you man, you are a life saver
@0.:25 This specific position isolated the source of the pain...the "specific" muscle. Since the pain is so big, I couldn't tell exactly where it was coming from. I've watched so many videos and this is the FIRST one that showed me how to find the source. Thank you!👍
Hi! Searched for hip rotation videos and found yours. Loved it, thanks. Contrasting color pants/mats would make it easier to see your demo. Thanks for the lesson just the same! 👍😊
As soon as I move my lower leg out, and the hip rotates in, I have a lot of tightness/pain. I think it is called. "impingment" syndrom? I did a lot of squatting, walking in the last years and I work seated. I also have fleet feet. I think I need to improve external rotation muscles correct? How can I strengthen my hip and become pain free again?
Awesome. Could you also suggest a few tailored exercises for recovering from 'long term' pain, due to calcaneous fracture or subtalar joint arthritis, please...
+Narayanan V thanks for the question. These: th-cam.com/video/xTUmZcxf_tI/w-d-xo.html and these: th-cam.com/video/4v2ep276TI0/w-d-xo.html and because of how the brain works, these hand exercises: th-cam.com/video/3f5tNw4DVGI/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the warning. I've had a hip replacement (in my mid 30's), and a movement restriction against crossing my bent knee over the midline. I was wondering if I could get away with this.
+ZHealthPerformance Apologies for not being clear enough--I meant that I had heeded your suggestion to not try it. I am already clear with my doctor on this. I made the mistake of commenting just to say something, and I did it in the middle of the night.
I have pain in the hip joint when I sit straight on a chair, spread the thighs at 95 degress and do internal hip rotation. what is the problem. There is no problem in internal rotation when thighs are spread at zero degrees(i.e they are straight).
Hi, What are your thoughts regarding hip mobility exercises for the improvement of femero acetabular impingements, both of the CAM and Pincer type. Also controlling mobility to avoid labral injuries. Kind regards John Ps I enjoy your videos as I like the way you think about disorders of movement and posture.

Hi, Can you tell me what are the name of these exercises?
What about strengthening the rotators. How would we do that?
Cool socks! How long should one do these excercises after an arthroscopy of hip

+Kelley Nielsen Thanks for your question/comment. The only one that could answer that for you is your physician.
