Side 1, in particular, is brilliant. Yes, the production is a little raw at times, being recorded directly off the acetate. But it in no way diminishes from the excellence of the songs, which are soulful, beautiful, evocative, melodic & brilliantly structured. This is a classic.
It's been amazin' trip for me ( I mean musical trip, no weed or so ) Think, that impossibble to find it on CD in my country, so big thanks for upploading.
What a fantastic album. I've only heard their first so far, but this material is fekin awsome as well. This stuff were apparently recorded right after their first album, but did not see daylight until 1997. Definitely getting the vinyl !
It's beautiful that we have this music immortalized on vinyl, CDs, TH-cam, downloads, but so sad how far away music has come from the creative zenith that was the 60s, 70s, and some of the 80s. I think T2 are the greatest of the melodic heavy trippy progressive stuff right up there with King Crimson, Rare Bird, ELP, and the best stuff by Genesis. Peter Dunton's vocals remind me of labelmates Caravan's Richard Sinclair. That is intended as a very high compliment.
The 1960s to 1980s indeed saw much great music produced - in the rock, pop-rock, jazz rock/fusion and metal genres. It's however unfair to dismiss music made in subsequent decades AND in decades prior to the 1960s.
@8alot4t -- That's why some bands with little talent can grow together over time. Too much talent can kill a band--very strange. Many took the "fake it til you make it" route, like The Stooges, for example.
Mit eine der großartigsten Krautrock Bands die ich kenne. Wer T2 liebt, liebt auch Out of Focus aus München. Schade das heute solche Werke nicht mehr up to date sind...
I think there is a big misunderstanding or a translation mistake. What I mean is that T2 sounds like old Krautrock Bands like Out of Fokus- hear them for understanding. And yes, T2 is english. A lot of bands in the 70 th played musik like / near Krautrock - in GB as well. Hope that statement claryfied.
They can really play, but T2 and King Crimson together you can't say that about Crimson's music. They sucked out with that Adrian Belew garbage, but T2 were heavily influenced by King Crimson. I have to put It'll All Work Out In Boomland and In The Court Of The Crimson King side by side as the two most impressive albums ever made.
the production/sound quality is extremely weak, which is a real pity! as the music is really excellent. boomland, on the other hand, has a crisp but warm open sound. beautifully done.
@@bernardjinks1950 HAHA, Hey Bernard this music is amazing! Cranking it loud in 2021. Don't worry about Whispyjohn up there, the guy doesn't even understand basic grammar, I wouldn't expect him to know a great band when he hears 'em!
Shrooming hard right now. Never listened to this LP in it's entirety. Blissful trip!

There's still a lot of great stuff in this vein being released nowadays; you just gotta look a little harder.

I actually like this album more than "Boomland". Much more raw and heavy overall.

Great Upload \m/
De las mejores bandas que he escuchado en mi vida, ambos discos (aunque este no lo llegaron a terminar) son hermosos.
Their first record was an absolute masterpiece, but this seems very good too..

my synapses are being rewired, dig dig
Toca Pappo en CD?
Where is this band from? Is this by any chance, the same band that in the 70's put out an album titled "It'll all work out in Boomland"?
same band, same lineup, check this out, www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=2188
Exactly!
You should make your kink so it opens into another window instead of stopping the video. A warning would have been appreciated.

Wiki (not a proper source of information, I know) lists the Fantasy ''album'' as being ''demos recorded in 1970''.

I saw this band in 1969, Supertramp were supporting them, so was Egg, both were better then this band!

Dont think so didnt play with supertramp or egg.
