My father died on 23 May 2022 after a long fight against a cancer. He was a fan of Gladiator and all the movies about the ancien Rome. For me, he was a hero so when we decided to choose the music for the funerals, we decided to chose this song played by you, Taylor. People at the church have been totally surprised and deeply amazed from this song. Thanks to you, my father had the tribute he deserved.
My brother died a few years back. We were both fans of Gladiator, and that line in the end of the movie has stayed with me... "Now you are free... I will see you again. But not yet... Not yet."

I went to see World Of Hans Zimmer in Clermont-Ferrand in France last year, and I can say, I never give this tune much light of day over his other work, such as Pirates Of The Caribbean, which was bloody fantastic, but coming away from the concert, I now have tons of appreciation for this piece... It's beautiful, and somehow, Taylor has made it even more of a gem with this cover!

I let the Music play at the Funeral of my Beloved Dad, because he fighted for his Life like an Gladiator and the Violin Play from Taylor is amazing. I couldn't have chosen an better Song. my dog passed away 2 weeks ago... I miss him so much. this song made me cry since it exists but now it´s even harder for me to resist! he was 14 1/2 years old. i´m 28. it´s like a big part of me died with him.

The first time I listened to this song was as my brother had been arrested because of drugs. It was on 17 may of 2017. My brother will go out on 11 january of this year. This song gives my mind back into that memories. But even so, this music is wonderful.
