I haven't gone back with my Caucasian skin tone recipe since you first introduced it. Plus the warmer and rosier variations you used on both Padme and Renerian have been indispensable in my toolbox. Thank you as always legend ❤

Hello dear expert! I'm seeking wisdom. I wish to paint my miniatures in flourescent paints and use varnish. Although I have heard that some varnishes can reflect/glow under UV light, which adds an unintended and unwanted 'varnish-flourescent' effect. Question: Do you know of any varnishes that does NOT reflect/glow under UV light? Perhaps any that you use on your OSL paints? Thanks in advance!
Hi there! I don't think I can really answer your question because I've never viewed my minis under a UV light tbh. If you're curious though, I use the AK Interactive Ultra Matte Varnish.. 😀

Color reflection, wow, that is some high level idea. As you cover with so many layers the surface, do you think the zenital priming matters at all in your case?
Thanks, and good question! Well, irregardless of the coverage question, the zenithal highlights were super helpful in giving me a road map for my highlight and shadow placement. But regarding coverage, I think for the face the zenithal underpainting wouldn't have made much difference, but elsewhere (like the sand) I think it really does help with the levels (as I applied fewer layers of paint on top) 😀
Do you ever still have those moments where you apply the paint and it looks so much brighter or too stark of a highlight/shadow to the base tone? I have to tell myself constantly to trust the process and to see it through, that the paint might dry duller etc. Just an interesting thought whilst watching you highlight the sand constructs and how it looks very bright at first, but drys duller.

Do you do commission work? I have a Galactus from the game Marvel Zombicide. He belongs to me, I went all in on Kickstarter to get everything. I would love to see your take on painting him and the zombie parts of him in your style, after seeing your Iron Man and the Sentinels from Crisis Protocol. You would do an awesome job on Galactus. I won't go into price or anything on here. Just think about it, imagine the great video series you could have just on painting him. Now playing to your fans, I think they would all love to see your work on such a colossal figure. Let me know if this is possible. Again I know you would do an incredible job on him. And yes I am very serious about this.

For sure! You just get used to it over time (and learn how different paints look when wet compared to dry..) 😀
