This song hit me really hard because a few years ago on Christmas Eve my boyfriend was leaving my house and he was killed in a car accident not very far from my home so every time that I hear this song I think about him my heart still hurts from his death and it always will .
My husband dropped dead in front of me 5 years ago. He was controlling and abusive. Hid from kids. Stayed for them. He such great guy!!!. Comes at any age to not speak truth. Bad example for daughters and sons. Lost daughter cuz daddy girl didn't believe me. Son went military moved. 7 grandkids. Will not go to my grave never saying the truth. I hurt everyday. Always there for everyone last 35 years condition. Always for everyone. No matter how much it hurts speak truth.

I remember when I began elementary, a young brother and sister who went to my school left their house after their parents got into a fight.. They ended up wrecking into a small creek than ran beside the dirt road, and they died. My school bus went by the site every morning, and a friend would point out a piece of metal in the creek and claim that it was remnants from their vehicle.
It was a tiny school that only went up to the 8th grade, so they couldn't have been more than 14-15 years old. This was in the 1990's.. The school planted a small tree on the school grounds for them, I believe.

My sister died at 17 in a car wreck .. she was in the car w a drunk driver and she was not drinking .. two made it and two in the back died .. that was 1980.. but it still hurts .. this song makes me think of her ..

- Girl after dealing with initial shock becomes enraged at her father who she blamed as the cause for her BF dying ( thinking that if he hadn't have kicked him out then he would be alive)

He came to my mom's one Saturday morning with my grandpa with the boat hooked to the truck and asked me to go fishing. I was being a punk kid and told my dad fuck you and went to friends down the road. The next morning my aunt woke me up knocking on the door and told me she needed to talk to my mom.
