Her eyes don't look nearly as bad and she doesn't look as scraggly. Here's hoping the treatment continues to work. :)

my cat has been going strong for 4 months now when he was given less than a week to live with his diagnosis. best of luck to your babies♥️
They think my George has FIP, and he does have FIV. I’m celebrating his 5th birthday as today, even though he was feral but friendly when I found him a year ago. He had two bouts of horrible stomatitis, so I found a dental specialist an hour away and all his teeth were removed almost two weeks ago. He’s healing slowly, not surprisingly, and hates taking his meds even though he feels so much better afterwards.
I inherited the house I’m in, where I found him, and he’s brought many more to come partake of the back porch buffet. I feed 16 cats and 3 possums, and it’s getting pricey, but 🤷🏻♀️. I have to find a good vet close by because I’m not going to perpetuate the growing cat population. My friend who left me the house was the cat man and did the same, so I’m trying to figure out how to keep his legacy going without breaking the bank. You’re an inspiration, Mary! 💜

That group is great! They helped me treat my Nemo last year. Now he's 9 months FIP free.
same experiences at my rescue. we have lots of black and black/white kittens and cats waiting to be adopted. But red or tricolor ones get adopted fairly quickly and purebred cats don’t even get a “welcome to the rescue” post online when they come in, because we’ll get applications in a matter of seconds.

We have 2 black panther kitties and 1 Siamese.
When we were looking to give our black panther a playmate, the Siamese and black panther were litter mates and a bonded pair. When I contacted the foster, I was the only one who wanted both kitties. All other inquiries were just for the Siamese, even though the information clearly marked them as a bonded pair. So, I totally get what you’re talking about.
Fast forward 3 years, we ❤our furr babies.
It’s great to see a kitten with FIP get so much love and care. My cat actually passed from FIP, she was old and the vets didn’t realise she had it until it was too late. It makes me happy to see a kitten with the same sickness get nursed back to help!

I have a black cat with one eye who is a personality all her own, and 2 orange boys that I got from Craigslist that were gonna be thrown in the woods. If they snuggle, they’re the cat for me

I know exactly what you’re talking about with the Siamese kitten issue! I had people dang near fist fight over a Siamese kitten at an adoption event!!! Terrible
I would adopt another black kitten any day if I could financially afford it. My brother adopted Brent Jr who is an all black cat and Toto who is an black and white tuxedo cat.
As far as Siamese being more popular than other cats, I love all kinds of cats, but I have allergies. They are bearable with Siamese cats, not others. I would love to be able to adopt a black cat, but unless another "hypoallergenic" cat wanders into my life, I'm stuck being a dog person.
Ok I gotta say and I know this is off topic but you remind me of Jenna Marbles and I mean that in the best way! Even down to the animal rescue work, you just do kittens and cats whereas Jenna Marbles does Greyhound Dogs
