I know some theory on both but I never know how to get the guitar chords to match with the piano. so kinda like whats the most effieciant way to learn and utilize both guitar and piano music theory together
Learn the notes of the fretboard, you dont have to know all of them to start but you should atleast have a few guidelines so you can find the notes you want to play faster. For chords i suggest learning barred Maj7 and Min7 cause they are easy to play and work in any key. But mostly for melodies i think i just go by ear!

I record the same loop twice and pan the two takes left and right. Works great for guitar
