Notes 1. pick out the item of clothing you really want to wear and form the outfit around it 2. assess the situation - what kind of outfit do you want the most important thing - do you like the outfit? how does it make you feel? you don't need to stick to the same asthetic no need to have a bunch of pairs of shoes (i also wear the same shoes for months on end) basically iris repeats shirts a lot and keeps the same pants and outerwear (same lol) outfit repeat as much as you want
This is great timing cause I’m trying to build my dream closet rn, also the best feeling is when you wear that one shirt and pant combo that you think wouldn’t work but they surprisingly do. And that’s what I call outfit and gender euphoriaaaa. Have a good day!
I’ll be honest, when I choose outfits I usually just grab a pair of black slacks or black skirts and a random shirt from my drawers 👀 Most of my shirts are either t-shirts, Silk button ups, or sweaters. I don’t wear jeans or most accessories because I have sensory issues and get overwhelmed after a few hours with jewelry. I do wanna get a collar though, those are so cute and I hope it doesn’t affect my sensory issues 🥺
this is actually very helpful ty 😌 especially the part abt allowing yourself to wear several styles/aesthetics. also I recommend getting faux turtlenecks & collars !! layering makes me sweaty so the faux ones are amazing. literally a game changer for my outfits.

Great advise about building an outfit around one piece, Ive been wearing the same thing and feeling icky about myself too just cause it looks nice and its easy and comfy but if you wear it long enough you still start feeling bad =( I'm trying to get my dream wardrobe too while still trying to find it. I very much dress like a middle school boy as well or a girl going clubbing XD I dont really have a middle ground so I just mostly dress in the former. please have fun with your videos! We watch you to connect with you, not a scripted out perfect character. seeing you have fun lets us see your personality more and connect with you more.

based on the vibe of my outfit that day I either wear my docs or plain black vans and my fits never feel boring. those are the only two pairs of casual shoes I have lol I love shoes and how two different pairs can totally change the vibe of the same outfit
