    Their pain is self inflicted.
Who goes on strike for a whole year, immediately follows with the most ridiculous price hikes? Then still expects corporate clients to come back to pay for even more strikes and very confusing non-service aka backlogs with eternally unattended faulty tracking. And then overpay again for "RTS" and "RLO" for those deliberately failed deliveries.
    Ay fusek

7 months since my international priority parcel arrived at SA post office and still waiting for it to be processed. No response to emails or answer to any of my calls. SAPO workers should not be quick to point the finger for the collapse of this institution.

That’s right. It’s self-inflicted. They must live with the consequences.

@@Leah-ju8ht sorry for your loss.... and I'm sure EVERY PO in the Country has a story like that.. the PO is the reason I stopped ordering from Wish.. they blatantly just started stealing my packages and when I pressed the matter I got that 'dead inside, eish i don't care' look .. #SorryNOTsorry

It’s too late. Like so many SOEs, the ANC have trashed the SAPO. #VoetsekANC

Well, at least they got the increase they wanted.... They will be out of work but will be comforted by the knowledge that they prevailed and got their "leaving wage" increases....

Yip, his massive investment drive is finally paying off, foreign investors are queueing up and are pumping their Rands into the economy. 😜
Best Cyril digs deep into the coffer's pockets, his unemployment social grant bill is about to balloon, let's see how long it takes before this money dries up. ☹What then?

There is no innovation there because of mismanagement, they could have been thriving with all the online shopping people do. I stopped purchasing and selecting the post office because either my package was lost or it was deleyed at a depot and recently my 2 local post offices closed and could only collect at a depot... and the depot only open weekdays ... that's what happens when you place people in positions with no drive or passion to think out of the box

The Unions in general destroy jobs by their strikes. The results are that eventually less people earn more money at expense of others.

With no alphabet to write with, with no history or tradition of writing. What need is there for a post office? It's a remnant of colonisation.

As a union do something to try and appoint managers/stakeholders that can actually do the fucking job.
