The popularity of Love Scenario was so huge. It is heard everywhere and everyone danced to it, whether they were fans or other idols.
Because Love Scenario was not only their most popular song, it was the most popular song in Kpop that whole year haha
What i absolutely love iKon is that they dont do crazy choreographies. Like it's all chill and vibe-y. You could actually focus on the song properly. Because you know, you are a musician not just a performer. You would want to be remember singing this song and not because you were flying all over the place.
I agree but also, as a dancer gotta say that the majority of their coreographies are very difficult for the fact that they are mad precise on the beat and their movements are very precise too.
They may seem not popular but their songs are very popular .... general public receive their song very well
The one with red sleeves is Jinhwan (Jay), the oldest member.
And an easier way to remember him is he really is the shortest. He does have some great choreo videos out there.
They were worried releasing Dumb n Dumber when everyone else released a cool guys concepts back then.. ended up winning TRIPLE CROWN. And it’s all organic in 2015!!
Killing Me made it to billboard when it was released, right?? iKONICS? Didn’t they??

P.S. Also for Love Scenario dance practice many view were brought up by the gamers who don't listen to kpop at all, because LS dance was used as an emote in the Fortnite xD And not just Korea loved the song - even gamers went crazy listening to just the instrumental(!) and watching the dance. Chanwoo also actually had a character "iKONIK" in Fortnite modeled from him :D There are lots of videos on youtube with Love Scenario Emote from the game. So this song went viral like 3 times: in Korea, worldwide and in gamer community. And the last ones wanted to see the "real" emote dance so yes, dance practice has a lot of views and I'm proud of iKON xD
For me, iKON is the best idol group dancers out there that's why enjoyed the most watching their dance practices. When they dance, they are synchronized and graceful but at the same time swaggy and their facial expression and stage presence is always on. No one in iKON that you can say not a good and amazing dancers. Which is rare in a group. I noticed that a lot of groups have one or two not so good dancers.
Jay/Jinhwan in the red sleeves is one of the best dancers in YG and so is DK/Donghyuk. If you get a chance you should watch one of the Love Scenario fmv that shows all the kids singing Love Scenario. To say it went viral in Korea is an understatement. They literally banned kids singing it in schools there. If you don't know at least the chorus for Love Scenario are you really a Kpop fan?! LOL
You might want to check out either of their survival shows predebut or iKONTV if you really want to get to know the members. Also Ju-ne has a solo song with Bobby, featured hype man, you will love.
But it all changed after games caterer ep 8-2.. Yunhyeong now is the latest best dancer in yge.. hahahahahaa.. jk!

I don’t dance, but I’ve watched all of iKON’s dance practices numerous times because their synchronization is addicting.
The one with the red sleeves is Jinhwan. Main vocalist and a great dancer!
Dumb and Dumber doesn't have official dance practice but DAMN it's one of my fav iKON dance to perform xD Cuz it's always so much fun! iKON are a chaotic group and now you can see it (imagine, they released DD in first year after their debut - so literally ruined their own idol image when they just started xD Cuz they didn't want to be perfect, they wanted to be free and themselves, love it). You should watch performances of Dumb and Dumber on music shows or concerts - they are almost all differ and improv and you will see why xD (but since they'll get copyrighted, you can just watch them on your own). Compared to DD, Killing Me is one of the hardest dance to cover after iKON - because of all the little precise movements and it's hard to dance the chorus part without looking awkward, only iKON can dance their choreo and be cool xD Their dances mostly look simple but it's suuuuuuuch a trick, they practice so much to get all those small movements synchronized, on bit, and all those little details - phew. Also I love how iKON dances always bring a new side to the song (and to the MV), their dance always illustrates the lyrics and the whole story. Like in Love Scenario, when you know the lyrics, you can see the dance putting another layer to the meaning. It's almost with all iKON songs.

i love watching their dance practice for killing me. it brings me back to the time when i was just getting into them and really just being addicted to this song and choreo. good old times 😌
also, the reason why the dance practice for love scenario has A LOT of views is mainly due to the popularity of the song. everyone loves this masterpiece and also loved to dance with this, kpop fans and non-kpop fans alike. aside from that, love scenario was used as an emote/dance move in fortnite so a lot of gamers headed over to the dance practice video to watch the original or watch where the emote came from or whatever.
lastly, the guy with the red details on his sleeves you were pointing out is Kim Jinhwan aka Jay. he’s the group’s oldest member, main vocalist and a really really great dancer too (imo he can also pass as the main dancer). he’s the one in the center of killing me on the first chorus too. and honestly, you can’t really let his charm pass when he’s dancing 😌
Yay, I was waiting all week for this, RJ! You will fall in love with them on Kingdom, you can see how all the other artists respect and love them, and how they got shafted by the show and “judges” and scoring system. Breaks my heart how hard they kept trying, even though they knew they wouldn’t score high, just so that iKONICs would have some content to watch. 🥺
Dumb and Dumber is a crazy chaotic video because it represents each member as they are dreaming, and then kind of a group dreaming episode(s). Still not sure how the ball pit fit in with the concept, lol. But I remember they shot that last, and they were exhausted. How they got the energy to play around like that is beyond me. ahhh, youth, haha.
Choreo today seems to almost fight with the song, in my opinion. It’s all about how many tricks you can cram in, how fast you go, what the 27 members are doing (is it me, or do all groups have like 27 guys now? Lolol). iKON is old school in that they use choreo to ENHANCE the song. You’ll see this on Kingdom, and the dance practices. Each gesture relates to lyrics or a rhythmic moment in the song. Each foot placement is precise. They have complex ins and outs as they move together and apart across the floor. And one of their hallmarks is a “free for all party vibe” at the end of the song, because iKON is all about fun and SWAG. So glad you are discovering them now.
You will probably learn their names through Kingdom, which uses their stage names. Many iKONICs don’t use their stage names because they got them so late, we already knew and loved them by their actual names. So may as well learn both, lolol. Jinhwan/Jay is in the red sleeves, the eldest, usually lighter hair, and the shortest. Donghyuk/DK has the high falsetto, next in height, and main dancer. Yunhyeong/Song is lanky and beautiful like a model, he and Chanwoo/Chan are called Twin Monsters, because even we (or even their grandparents, which they illustrated in a video) can’t tell them apart in pictures, haha. (Bobby gave them this nickname). So don’t feel bad. Chanwoo is taller and has a lower voice. He almost rap-sings. Hopes this helps you to differentiate them a bit in videos like these.

listening to 'dumb and dumber' is fun. I just listened to the song and was inspired to be stupid. I mean I can do whatever I want. How about this? It seems we have the same favorite members 🤣. My top favorites are Junhoe and Jinhwan as well hahahaha I love Junhoe's voice tone and humor while I really find Jinhwan sexy and very good at dancing although all iKON members are really amazing dancers.

The guy with the red sleeves is my bias. Jinhwan/Jay is the oldest member and one of the oldest trainees together with Bobby and B.I. What I love about Jinani is that even though he's the main vocal, he could easily be the main dancer as well. He's the shortest but he makes up for it by dancing more deliciously. We call him sexy cutie. Hahaha! He always gets bullied even though he's the oldest but everybody likes and respects him. Him and June are both so well-rounded when it comes to vocals and dance.

I actually love iKON. They aren't really understated, cause a lot of people know of them, in a wider range. They've had their fame in both ups and downs. But what really made me fall in love with them is their ability to show what they sing (dance performances: I love whoever choreographed them) , and do it so beautifully pleasing.
They have diverse music and dances like they're born for it, for (me to see them 😂) . I love them.
