Could you kindly assist me with simulating a circular tube through which fluid material (water) flows and a circular titanium electrode is placed in the center of the tube to provide joule heating and analyze heat transfer to the fluid as well as velocity distribution inside the tube using ansys fluent?
i want to simulate a nitinol wire. the values are known to me. the simulation is like this first the wire is stretched to 2mm and then temperature condition is applied to regain its shape. the wire displacement i obtained but when the temperature is increased the wire does not come to its original shape can you help?
hey can u give an idea about how to do thermal electric simulation if current is flowing in a cyclic manner(load for hour and no load for another and so on..)?
You can use Transient system and apply the current as function of time. The easiest way will be calculate the values vs time in excel the copy paste in the load as tabular data.
