Thanks ill take that tip - played my first unranked unfortunately ended up going Xerath into Garen mid lane. Got abused by team mates and people wonder why ranked is so unpopular for new comers. I'm going back to other games, just doesn't seem fun.

I think so. Its like full of people that knows the game but still learning. And i think plat is the most fun because everyone is experimenting and just having fun. Its like 3k mmr in dota2.

You're trying to give people like me tips (Bronze player), but your attitude is really negative. Don't mute team members so quickly, you're talking about communicating to your team and guiding them, but now it's giving me mixed signals because of your behavior. I think you can do better man.

I’ve played league for quite some time and I can assure you 8/10 times there’s nothing constructive going on in the chat. Sometimes muting is better to keep up the mental and focus. You also have to keep in mind nb3 plays this game for a living and it makes sense for him to mute teammates sometimes so he can keep up good vibes for chat & himself. What’s the use if there’s some messy stuff going on in chat, nb tilts and the content goes from him being educational (him pointing out what he does, what could be done at that point in game, what could be done better) and lighthearted to bad vibes and therefore barely any helpful tips coming in for newer players, yk?
Totally agree. You need to play well yourself and do the right decisions. No need to listen to tilters. Mute all chat is one of the best things there is. And if you're good and have kills and so forth your team will play around you. Pings are more than enough. My advice is to mute chat until you get to masters or even above. Before that there's only complaints. Especially if you are playing jungle.
