Looks like Basanti's delay actually did you a favour. All that instruction and training set you up well for your future travels. I always wondered how you were so confident off road. Now I understand that the training helped build your confidence to start with, and now you have added many thousands of kilometres of experience. Well done Noraly.
Having Basanti delayed was meant to be. It's given you the opportunity to learn how to ride in more demanding situations by a good teacher so that you can tackle more tracks that you might have not ridden in the future because you weren't confident. Things always happen for a reason. Cheers Andrew
All the miles Noraly does and she still doesn't get cocky and over confident. Kudos to ANY rider who puts ego aside and listens to good advice. Very admirable trait if you ask me. 👍
This was the first video where I've seen Noraly actually riding off road for an extended period. Reminds me of my young adulthood when I rode powerlines through the wooded parts of N.E. Michigan. We called it scrambling. One time I borrowed a 100cc Honda but I couldn't keep up with the group. So one of they guys showed me something I would never have believed: He wrapped the throttle all the way up and held it there. He changed gears to keep the engine just below 10,000 rpms! He said he'd grown up with one and you couldn't break it. Although I then knew how I could keep up with the others and their big water buffalos, I just couldn't bring myself to run it quite that hard. After all, it was borrowed. *(Dave it was your bike) I tried to keep the engine just below 9,000 rpms, but what a testament to Honda Motor Co., Ltd I'd say I will remember that all of my life cuz I'm 71yrs now. Go Noraly! Having the time of her life, She is the biking Queen, as you will see... ben/ michigan
Fantastisch en wat een mooi deel van de wereld om motor rijden. Als motorrijder zit ik hier achter het beeldscherm alsof ikzelf op de motor zit. Heel bijzonder.
I will bet you used every one of these new techniques when you tackled Sani Pass alone. Good job on developing such a great skill set. Ride safe. I am gradually working my way up through your videos starting at S1 E1.
What I found especially edifying ablout this episode, apart from the the fantastic scenery and and the emptiness, which I find spiritual (eremos), was the fact that Peter was quite clearly sharing his experience with Noraly. I know she paid him (it's a business for him after all) but it was rotaly obvious to me that he felt she was someone "who could look him in the eye" even if he did have his own smarts on that particular terrain. It's good when males accept women in their territory, and aren't afraid to spend time in theirs
I lived nearly 70% of my life in Muscat, Oman. I've never been to the places you have...I grew up there, but never really liked the place. Thank you for sharing your journey and helping me remember how friendly the actual locals can be...save for a few odd characters!
Of all the videos I have watched I have never seen this part of the world explored and recorded. Just think you have explored an area in more detail than just the usual travel through an out style videos I see a lot off. Well done and thank you for taking us on your journey and for keeping that cheery face. The smile is a pleasure and what a fantastic guy for showing you that land.
Thanks for that Paul!! Glad to show you this part of Oman and as you say, not too many people explore this part of the world, but it's absolutely worth it !
Really love the little tips on the dirt riding we get, for people like me I do more street riding than dirt, but getting more dirt time and time goes on, and as I get closer to 70 years old it makes me a little more nervous.
Certainly one of the most beautiful places in the world. You did just excellent on the starting technique. What a joy it must be to be in those mountains!
I really have to say that this guy found some really amazing routes to teach people how to ride offroad. Not only you are learning thing that can actually save you life (and bike) but at the same time beeing able to watch and live some amazing scenary really hard to find and explore. Kudos. Also, i know i'm more than a year back on your jouney, but i bet that not having Basanti there at that moment was the best thing that could happen to you. Enjoy your ride wherever you are now :) Edit: oh and, not to mention that i'm really impressed by your riding skills. Getting down from a Monster and now climbing hills on sandy/rocky terrain. Wow
What an awesome location to learn new riding skills. You seem to be a natural at this. Water on the road in a desert is such a cool thing to encounter. Your choice of music is so good, as usual.
Noraly, everything that happens has it's point. If you got Basanti day after you arrived in Oman, you probably wouldn't experienced off roads adventure with Peter, which was perfect guide for you. 2 week of activities in Oman, without Peter you would bite your nails
Oman looks fantastic. Nice that you took me on this trip. I am looking forward to a nice motorcycle trip again and maybe it will be in Oman! Stay positive and keep going Noraly! Greetings George
Gorgeous landscapes. So different from the luxurious greens you've been using to see you ride through in Thailand for instance. Enjoy ! Thanks for sharing
What an encouraging and patient teacher. Having watched the other 6 seasons and coming to season 1 now, it’s amazing at how confident and professional a rider you’ve become, but it’s fun to see the beginnings of that skill and confidence xo
You posted 6 minutes ago and I’m not the first to comment that is Awesome 👏🏼... Across the world for different reasons we have not ridden our Himilayans my reason is ice, cold & snow. Thank you for the proof that the world is a warm place. The ride posted today was just beautiful what a wonderful world you show the rest of us. Thank You Noraly.
Itchy Boots, Well......... I am not patient, having brought “Eleanor “ my 19 Himilayan in black, I had to ride! I waited till Saturday, the driveway was 1/2 clear of ice started her up and headed on out... The Toyota dealership is only 2 miles away, plugged in the heated gloves, jacket and went to show her off to the crew. They loved the look, sound and totally understood the whole “Adventurer “ idea. Thank God no body saw it , but as I was leaving the dealership the bike slid out on oil. Spun around backwards so fast I had to dump it. Such heartache. She started right up. A nice customer inquired if I was ok. It all happened at 5 MPh I wasn’t hurt, just agonizing over potential damages,,,,, BUILT LIKE A GUN. A scratched handle bar end, scrapes @ left foot pegs and a slight bent shifter. The center stand took all the scrapes the left side would’ve had. All cheap replacements. Lessons learned... You’re Right Spring is Coming.
Nice to hear that "basanti" is on the way. Nothing like riding your own bike. 😘. I can see that you are having fun. The view is awesome. Stay safe, stay cool, stay pretty. Keep on riding.
Hello Noraly. What an amazing video. Spectacular scenery and great riding skills. You're having a fantastic adventure, (I'm really jealous!!). I wish you well. Thanks for posting the videos. 👍
Hi Noraly, what an amazing track, it even looked steep on video. Many thanks for demonstrating the hill start. The sound of the engine told how steep it was. Incredible views, you have certainly made the most of your time waiting for Basanti. Please be gentle with her after the CCM. Thanks for sharing another adventure.
2021, impressed that you road this well. S4 riding with motor cops was a great learning experience, adding to your skill levels. Your coach in Oman was very helpful! Thanks for showing a part of Oman I did not know! Fun to ride!
Lesson of this video, if you never challenge yourself or your abilities, you will never become a better ride. Some of the sections looked steep. Great job 👍
I have only two things to add .the CCM is an excellent classy bolide. .and Dutch..get those itchy feet heading outa there..it's time to head out on the highway with the enfield throbbing away..bonus voyage, ciao Oman
Wow, so useful, these practices! Many riders and also car drivers never really practice emergency skills, like braking, slipping, and have the wrong reactions.
I am not very sure how animals can survive in this type of climate.I do not see any grass but i see goats /sheep around. Unique i can sum up. Thanks for the video of the terrain in Oman.. Fantastic.
Wonderful! I'm still watching some of your oldest videos while I wait. Things do turn out in life. I hope other off road bikers learn from these videos. I wish I'd known these skills when I was riding a small dirt bike many decades ago. I often stalled on steep hills, then pushed my bike up to the top which was very tiring.
Impressive riding! I'm enjoying following your journey. I'm watching all of your previous videos trying to get caught up. Wishing you continued safe travels.
Quite a challenge road that was. Your technique to move the bike on that hill was perfect, you really paid attention to your guide and learnt it very well. You should be proud. I hope next video is back on your bike and will be waiting for it. Tomorrow mine will have first service, 500 km one. And I have 4 free days to ride. Happy life :)
Itchy Boots I like more Basanti than that one you ride there, regardless power etc. Himalayans has that old and new looks , that made then elegant bikes.
I felt the same way the time i went for the first time in my new bike to a ski center in the Andes mountains in Chile the summer 2006. What a ride i had!!
Great going, it was easier with right side foot shifter, ie: left foot on brake, hand on clutch, give it gas and reach down with right hand to shift in gear, and you do the hokey poke.
Great training for what lays ahead! Such a beautiful country, I think the next time I'm staying in Abu Dhabi I'll have to make the effort to get down there.
So proud of you! you fixed that stall very well. The view was definitely worth learning the new terrain in my opinion. so looking forward to the rest of the adventures good luck!
I didn't know that technique, how awesome you showed that in your video! You did great with your lessons, congratulations. Thanks for sharing your experience! ♡
Just watched all your videos at one go. Having enjoyed them a lot it kinda felt bad not to like and subscribe, so that I did. Short but awesome vids. I'd choose your vids over any city dwelling insta model vids. Hopefully someday I'll be bold enough to hit the road like you. Don't stop, ride safe. Cheers

That's what I think too Andrew, although the wait is horrible lol :P
All the miles Noraly does and she still doesn't get cocky and over confident. Kudos to ANY rider who puts ego aside and listens to good advice. Very admirable trait if you ask me. 👍
Ahh- a survival trait, I've found........am still riding!

God does work in mysterious ways. Your bike being hung up in transit all this times is definitely turning out to be a blessing.
Everyone in Oman seems so kind and polite.
Noraly, you rode with such great confidence and enthusiasm in these early episodes. It’s fun to re-watch them. Ride safe!
I lived nearly 70% of my life in Muscat, Oman. I've never been to the places you have...I grew up there, but never really liked the place. Thank you for sharing your journey and helping me remember how friendly the actual locals can be...save for a few odd characters!

Peter created a fantastic business. I looked at the website. So cool to be able to match one's passion with a way to make a living.
Peter is a great instructor and he has an apt student. Good to see your skills growing.
Peter was like the Master of the Mountains, training Noraly for her next adventure
that uphill is so crazy. glad you did it. you really amazed us

thanks mam :)
Dit is wel een van de mooiste landen wat mij betreft. Wegen en omgeving/ natuur zijn prachtig.
What an awesome location to learn new riding skills. You seem to be a natural at this. Water on the road in a desert is such a cool thing to encounter. Your choice of music is so good, as usual.
Thank you! Yes, incredible location to improve on skills!!
Didn’t realise Oman had such high terrain. Thanks for this video.
Wieder eine abenteuerliche Tour 👌, was für eine atemberaubende Landschaft. Tolles Video 🤗
Noraly, everything that happens has it's point. If you got Basanti day after you arrived in Oman, you probably wouldn't experienced off roads adventure with Peter, which was perfect guide for you. 2 week of activities in Oman, without Peter you would bite your nails
I love going off road exploring the small Thai villages and farm tracks, this video is very inspirational!
On an Itchy Boots binge to support Noraly while she's on Corona lockdown in Peru. Starting from her very first video! You should too!
What an amazing place, and great bike skills.
What a beautiful engine sound
Oman looks fantastic. Nice that you took me on this trip. I am looking forward to a nice motorcycle trip again and maybe it will be in Oman! Stay positive and keep going Noraly! Greetings George
Now that was such a great experience! I bet your riding confidence is skyrocketing! Would live to do this. Excellent part of your journey, Noraly. 🏆
Thanks! Yes this was superb riding, loved it!! :D
My favourite video so far, Oman looks awesome 😎
Wow, incredible. If you didn't know offroading before after getting across India, you certainly have it mastered now.
This route is way tougher than it looks. You did fantastic. Proud of ya :)
Thanks!! Yes sometimes on the footage you can't actually see how steep it was in reality haha
@@ItchyBoots You could tell when you stalled and looked back down.
Fun adventure today...Quite a steep hill but lots of fun!
Gorgeous landscapes. So different from the luxurious greens you've been using to see you ride through in Thailand for instance. Enjoy ! Thanks for sharing
Yes quite the contrast right! :D
What an encouraging and patient teacher. Having watched the other 6 seasons and coming to season 1 now, it’s amazing at how confident and professional a rider you’ve become, but it’s fun to see the beginnings of that skill and confidence xo
Saudi peninsula landscape is truly gorgeous. The mountains man...the mountains.
Thanks a lot for this beautiful experience, and scenario.. Oman it's so wonderful..🥰
Watching these videos with Peter back it’s so cool to see how much he taught you. ❤
He seems like a cool guy, I’d love to learn from him.

I'm sort of glad I'm not the only one who doesn't get to ride their Himalayan ;) We are not alone! :P
I totaly agree with you.. So inspiring.. 😊🏁🏜️🏔️✨🛵

Yes definitely can't wait for my own basanti again!!
Hello Noraly. What an amazing video. Spectacular scenery and great riding skills. You're having a fantastic adventure, (I'm really jealous!!). I wish you well. Thanks for posting the videos. 👍
Thanks Paul! :)
Hi Noraly, what an amazing track, it even looked steep on video. Many thanks for demonstrating the hill start. The sound of the engine told how steep it was. Incredible views, you have certainly made the most of your time waiting for Basanti. Please be gentle with her after the CCM.

Yes I will be careful with Basanti after riding this CCM ;)
2021, impressed that you road this well. S4 riding with motor cops was a great learning experience, adding to your skill levels. Your coach in Oman was very helpful! Thanks for showing a part of Oman I did not know! Fun to ride!
Love your ride around the Plateau. The view from the top is amazing!
I think that I would be more scared going down a steep mountainside than up. Great job!
Great video. Missing Basanti though. It's amazing how attached we get to machines.
Great music choice by the way
I know, I'm so attached to Basanti! Hope to see her back very soon!
Last scene, Quite marvelous view!!
Lesson of this video, if you never challenge yourself or your abilities, you will never become a better ride. Some of the sections looked steep. Great job 👍
I totally agree! Always keep on learning and improving :)
I am Omani, and I do this route on a land cruiser, doing it on a bike is a totally different ball game. Well done.
Good experience
I learned something new too! I was cheering you on when you stalled it and used the technique Peter showed you. Flawless execution! Well done!
That was some Climb in 1st gear very very Well done ,your a quick learner and a natural i think , look forward to the next video Noraly ,all the Best
Thanks a lot John!
I have only two things to add .the CCM is an excellent classy bolide. .and Dutch..get those itchy feet heading outa there..it's time to head out on the highway with the enfield throbbing away..bonus voyage, ciao Oman
Haha thanks Dave! Hope to have the enfield back very soon!
Wow, so useful, these practices! Many riders and also car drivers never really practice emergency skills, like braking, slipping, and have the wrong reactions.
Place looks like off-roaders' paradise. Good luck
It definitely is!! :D
Awesome inspiration to get out and explore this world. Great vid, and good luck with your future riding.
Thank you Gus!
What an amazing adventure.
You are really doing well.
Amazing! brilliantly completed the ride.Hats off!
Это супер крутые поездки, види невероятные, как на Марсе... Мечта, а не путешествие!

I am not very sure how animals can survive in this type of climate.I do not see any grass but i see goats /sheep around. Unique i can sum up. Thanks for the video of the terrain in Oman.. Fantastic.

Great video. Awesome place "Salamah plateau" in Oman. Nice offroading track.
Every disappointment is blessing🙏🏽 Enjoy your ride with Peter in that beautiful country of Oman 🇴🇲
Stunning view from the top.
Spectacular scenery
Impressive riding! I'm enjoying following your journey. I'm watching all of your previous videos trying to get caught up. Wishing you continued safe travels.
Such a good experience. You are so passionate actually.
What a beautiful adventure!
I absolutely loved it! What a road to take! Best to you always, Noraly and Godspeed.
Beautiful views & what a place to ride about..well done for keeping it upright..keep up the good work..✌🏻
Wow Noraly wow. Great driving Tecknik 👍🏼👍🏼

Next video is part two of riding at the Salmah Plateau, but I'm hoping that the one after that is with Basanti again!
Itchy Boots I like more Basanti than that one you ride there, regardless power etc. Himalayans has that old and new looks , that made then elegant bikes.
44 episodes down in 24 hours its awesome!
Superb Off-roading..👍
Beatiful country to ride in, love the out of the way places you bike in the most, beautiful scenery
I felt the same way the time i went for the first time in my new bike to a ski center in the Andes mountains in Chile the summer 2006. What a ride i had!!
Sounds like an amazing ride!
So amazing. U really living the dream. Literally goosebump seeing the scenery
Never ridden anywhere like that. Super stuff. And good riding. Happy travels
Reminds me of southern Utah, Nevada and Arizona. Looks like fun riding.
Excellent riding ..well done👍looking forward to seeing how Basanti handles it..👍👍
Me too :D
Great going, it was easier with right side foot shifter, ie: left foot on brake, hand on clutch, give it gas and reach down with right hand to shift in gear, and you do the hokey poke.
Those that complain about Noraly's ridding skills should have to ride this route with no help before commenting
Wow that was a really good video loved every minute of it thanks 😊
Great training for what lays ahead! Such a beautiful country, I think the next time I'm staying in Abu Dhabi I'll have to make the effort to get down there.
Ah yes, Abu Dhabi is just around the corner! :D
you are soooooo brave!
So proud of you! you fixed that stall very well. The view was definitely worth learning the new terrain in my opinion. so looking forward to the rest of the adventures good luck!
After that climb you are officially my hero!
Haha thanks Thomas! :D
I don't ride a bike, but now I feel like I should have. I just love off roading, but I do it in a Cruiser. Love your travels.
I didn't know that technique, how awesome you showed that in your video!
You did great with your lessons, congratulations. Thanks for sharing your experience! ♡
You are amazing Noraly !!
Yikes, it wasn't particularly apparent how steep the ride up was until you stalled and looked back. Wow, great job in making it up there. 👍🏻
Awesome view going up there!
Thanks for uploading..🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Take care dear!☺️☺️☺️
Thanks Hanee! :)
Itchy Boots,
It’s like what people always says.. the view on top is always beautiful & it’s worth the riding.😍🥰
I'm jealous. Hopefully in about 12 years I can do that there as well. Until then I have Moab...and that ain't so bad.
Die klim was MEER dan de moeite waard. Uitzonderlijk mooi uitzicht.
Cheers
Thanks for the Itchy Boots marathon that you did and subscribing !! :)
10:00 super nice people very helpful and humble
