He did everything on the book to save Alera not only from the pirates but also doing a blood transfusion altering his blood forever but it was too much for for him and needed urgently help from the doctors. Meanwhile Alera never left him
It's improbable that an AI could determine the distance to the signal origin to within 2/10 of a kilometer. Since the distress signal was unregistered, there's no way the AI would have any idea what type of equipment generated it, and it would be impossible for the AI to determine that the vessel was damaged. In fact, it would be impossible to know there even was a vessel. These stories get less and less believable every day. Oh, gawd! Mark had a fully functional ship -- why did they stay in her wreck for weeks? And how could he have been affected by her DNA? The medkit took his blood and gave it to her, mixed with synthetic plasm. Her blood didn't enter his body. Can't finish -- this story is so stupid I can't take any more.
Too bad the title is partially inaccurate. Really wanted to know about that part of things.

The title is very wrong. It is obvious what you intended. Alas.
The title is wrong!

Too bad you used a very very mis leading heading. I almost did not watch. Please put more truthful content in headlines..
