Having flown 50 flights with Air Asia X last year. The ex PAL aircrafts 9M-XBG, 9M-XBF are the best for leg room and they have lie flat beds for "business" class. 49 out of 50 flights were on time so I couldn't ask for more given their tickets are always cheap and affordable. Their new food/drink range is amazing and their prices are great too.
I don't have high expectation of food on low-cost carriers, and that's one of the reasons I don't choose budget airlines for long flights, but what you got on this flight has impressed me. Seems like good legroom doesn't always mean comfortable seat :)
3:04, In June of 2017, Airasia X lauch flights to Honolulu via Osaka for the 1st time (it's awesome), using the Airbus A330-300, which I flew 1 month later in July of 2017 (I flew on 9M-XXZ to Honolulu via Osaka) both flights are good and okay, the seats are good and okay and I enjoy both flights, even though there is no universal power outlet. Since the pandemic began and even to this day, Airasia X terminate flights to Honolulu via Osaka, Japan, which is sad.
Thanks. Yeah Airasia X has no plan to relaunch flights to Honolulu via Osaka soon or next year since June of 2017. My pleasure. Hope you like your AirAsia X flight to Kuala Lumpur.
You’re very welcome. That’s a good points, I’ll try to get do that more in the future. May I ask (feel free to not reply), what are some of the things you’d want me to include in the video?
As of Jan-July 2024 Terminal 1 : 17.588 million (106.85% pre covid) Terminal 2 : 14.964 million (77.24% pre covid) So yup Terminal 2 are still not back to pre covid levels passengers yet
Yeah okay that makes sense as to why it felt quieter there. I guess AirAsia hasn’t been as quick to recover as some other airlines, particularly AirAsia X. Thanks for the info!
They did an aircraft change for me this year and I was moved from row 2 window to row 68 middle for a 9 hour flight! Staff laughed. Seat difference refund was a nightmare. I’ll honestly never fly with them again no matter how cheap.
19:04, That's the same runway that we land when I flew Airasaia Malaysia from Phuket to Kuala Lumpur last year in July and from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur last month, both flights are good and okay, from memory, 1 way, I pay $60 to $80 on both flights, it's quite cheap. Hope you like your Airasia X flight to Kuala Lumpur, but 21:31, row 14 is missing a window, did you notice and on your Airasaia X flight to Kuala Lumpur, do they have wifi?. Last month, I flew Airasia Malaysia from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, they have wifi, which is good. How's the passport control for entering Malaysia, is it long and your trip to Kuala Lumpur, did you like it and enjoy your trip like eating Malaysian food, if so, how's the taste?
Oh wow! Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Oh I didn’t know AirAsia had wifi that’s cool. From memory it wasn’t particularly long. I did enjoy my trip to KL, but I only stayed at the airport hotel for 1 night so didn’t go into the city. I’d love to go back to do that though. Didn’t have it really on this trip, but in general I find Malaysian food to be tasty.
Nice information! But they dont fly to Auckland since February 2024.
Thanks! Also thanks for the correction, my apologies for not realising that.
10:57 I love the a330 engines when you takeoff and the pilots apply the reverse thrust when you land
Yeah they have a cool sound!
Thank you for showing the air asia check in area. Very informative for first timer to bali.
You’re very welcome! I’m happy to hear that!

Wow that’s a lot! Yeah I’d imagine so, I’d love to get on one of those. Yeah agreed.

I will be going to bali this month😂😂😂
Awesome!
Which row that does not have window ?
On this aircraft I think row 12 is the only row without any window, but I’m not 100% sure

Oh wow, that sounds pretty horrible.
I think your voice changed a bit😆
Yeah it probably has 😂

Yes. Thanks. Yes, but I think only on the narrow body plane. I see, it is the food is good, delicious and the best.
I like Air Asia x
Me too!
367 seats ?
Yep!
Yes, yes!!!
The HOT SEAT is the best seat of Air Asia, but Air Asia and Cebu Pacific are too tigh.
Is popular SARDINE CLASS!!!
Hot seats are the best on AirAsia yeah. Yeah I’ve heard that term before haha
For a quiet zone, can they quiet down the announcements😂
Yeah haha
I thought virgin Australia stoped flying to Bali
They did during COVID, but restarted flights a little while ago
