    Here we go again. I’m only 5+ weeks and consistently waking up around midnight for a couple hours. This is gonna be a long 8 more months!😩

      This is me! I'm 5 weeks... It wasn't like this the first time. It has been going on for 3 weeks. I'm so tired.

    I have always struggled with insomnia. It was really bad in my first trimester to where I was literally unable to sleep and was up all night then having to get up and get my 5 year old ready for school and work all day and STILL couldn't sleep at night. It improved for a while and I was finally getting sleep. Now, I'm almost 37 weeks and my insomnia has come back. I work 40+ hours a week and I get so insanely tired at work and when I get home I am exhausted but will just lay in bed, wide awake and it's really taking a toll on me.

    I have been binge watching your videos all week! I suspected I could be pregnant, but thought I was making it up in my head as the chances were 2% as I took the morning after pill. Well on 9dpo I got my positive!!! I'm so happy! Totally unexpected but I am so peaceful! Thank you for your content. I really hope this little life force sticks around

    I have tried meditation, exercise, white noise, dark room, no clocks in bedroom, and medications - the Benadryl and Unisome.

      That's also my problem now , i don't know what to do i can't sleep for how many consecutive days. I have a cough and sore throat. I always have a headache because of lack of sleep 😭😭

    Just ate a bowl of cereal in the dim living room and am going to do yoga at 4 in the morning! It always makes me want to nap on the floor during the day (even pre pregnancy). Worth a shot!

    39 weeks here and can’t sleep at all anymore!!! 3am and haven’t slept yet. This is every night now. I am just so uncomfortable. I was a stomach sleeper before because my hips hurt laying on my side. Can’t lay on my back. Bored. Tired. So full of baby. At least it’s almost over and then I will have a little one to spend my sleepless nights with!

    I'm on 4 weeks now and couldn't sleep right away and I sleep so light. I could get awake immediately and can't sleep back. 😢

    I am in my second trimester and i can't sleep during the day or night. When i close my eyes alot is going through my mind

    I am only in my first trimester and I’m experiencing sleeplessness. It is so frustrating! Never experienced this in my previous two pregnancies.. Now I know why it’s happening from the video.. Will try the tips to help improve my sleep!

    Restless legs/leg cramps are what keeps me up. Literally am not falling asleep untill 3am every night. And definitely now that im getting bigger its harder to get comfortable

    I am wide awake alll night with this baby , we get sleepy around 2-4am my husband calls us night walkers

    I'm 33 weeks and often wake up with intense feelings of my heart racing and anxiety but they aren't related to dreams or any feelings/thoughts I'm having. I use a pregnancy pillow, take prenatal vitamins, and try to walk during the day to tire myself out. The only thing that helps is taking an anti-histamine before bed but I only take it sparingly.

    Currently sitting here 5 weeks and 4 days at almost 3:00am for the 4th or 5th night in the row and I feel like I'm on the edge of getting sick...i can't do this anymore I have a 17 month old and can't afford to be so tired I can't keep my eyes open during the day.

      And I can imagine that the more you think about it, the more it bothers you and keeps you awake? Have you tried anything to help you relax more?

      @@OhMyMamaBody ugh yes was making it worse and worse! Although something changed and I've able to sleep the last 3 nights thank goodness I was on the edge of crazy😂

    I had insomnia, anxiety, PTSD, night terrors, and sleep apnea before I was pregnant. Now I can’t take any of my medications while pregnant, and I can’t get any sleep or very little. I use my CPAP and night mouth guard for teeth grinding. My doctor told me to take Benadryl and it only helped a few nights. Than he told me to take Unisome. It only helped a few nights. Now I am so drowsy during the day. I fall asleep on the table after lunch, I was falling behind in my college courses, and now I can barely drive my car. I don’t know what to do anymore. I am suffering.

    I don't know why I have insomnia. All I know is that I'm peeing like I have a UTI minus the gross add ONS ... And my dreams are freaking way out there!!!

    28 weeks and I’m awake at 3:30 am. Put my lo to sleep at 9p. Almost fell asleep in her bed. Got up to go to my own and haven’t went to sleep since. I am getting very sleepy rn. Goodnight 😴

    O can’t sleep cos I had swollen painful feets all tru my pregnancy and blocked nostrils and increase baby movements very uncomfortable. I have 3 wks to go thank God

    I don’t have anything on my mind. I just can’t sleep. I am uncomfortable 😳 once hubby goes to work I fall asleep. I guess since I have been up all night.

    So interesting Vicki, this explains a lot. I suffered a lot with sleeplessness during second and third trimester. This explains why! :-)

    I thought I would be sleeping well but it turned out to be opposite. I am only about to become 4 weeks, I keep falling asleep during the day for naps then at night I wake up at 6. I also have blocked nose, mild cramps,fast heartbeat its making it hard to sleep.

    I am 8 weeks pregnant and in 24 hours I don't get even one hour sleep. I always feel crying and literally cry sometimes. There is too much sleep in my eyes but my brain can't sleep. When I try to sleep my brain kick me and sometimes I even can't even be in bed and have to walk as I feel so restless. I think I am the more unfortunate one in this world. My brain has the setting that i will not be able to sleep. Will it harm the baby? I am so worried. Now I am even fearful of darkness. Am I going crazy? When I will become normal again? (It is my husband's account)

      Hi lovely lady, I highly recommend deep sleep meditation. At least this will help you to deeply relax, which is what you and baby need. There will be many on YT which you can listen too 💗

      I literrally have the same situation as you! I'm 10wks in. I cry but at the end of it, still not sleeping. I am so restless i also wake up like I want to scream or hurt something. I want to sleep so much but it comes to a point even lying in bed makes you so restless. I hope you're better now. I'm still halfway thru my battle and I can't function normally because I feel so weak bec of no sleep.

    I’m 5 weeks and I can only sleep for three hours at a time 🤦🏽‍♀️ either that or I’m wide awake thinking. I also have crazy dreams every night 😫 I also have shallow breathing.

    I’m 9 week and suffer with anxiety and I was fine but then all sudden I can’t sleep good. Iv been sleeping only 2 or 3 hours. I feel like I’m going crazy. I don’t know what to do 🥺

      @@OhMyMamaBody iv tired. Shower before bed and just walking until I’m tired. Until Monday I will schedule a psychologist appt. But so it’s been 3 days and just sleeping 4 hours still. Im going insane

    This is my first pregnancy. Having insomnia for almost a week. Btw im in second trisemester. I keep thinking this will be my first and last pregnancy. I dont like this feeling. Its killing me. My body feel sleepy but mind wide awake. I try so many remedies so i can sleep but it doesnt help. Will i get insane for lack of sleep?

      @@gurjotsandhu4699 hi, my insomnia cured after taking a vacation to somewhere else. Try changing place or environment of sleeping. It helps me sleeping alot better after that.

    4 am awake and over it 4 months in and i m tired all the time then i got to bed sleep an hr or 3 and im up all night 12am or 1am seems to be the same time every day

      Me too... I have had insomnia for a month now... only 4 weeks but sven even before then. I wake up at 3am every single day and fall asleep again at around 6

    I took a nap lastnight and woke up around 1 and couldn’t go back to sleep it’s so annoying because i want to sleep but i can’t

      @@OhMyMamaBody I drank a warm cup of milk and it helped somewhat along with thunder and rain sounds i love the rain but even that doesn’t help sometimes, but yesterday i was overwhelmed because every night is a struggle i literally broke down crying cause i just wanted to sleep and couldn’t control whatever was happening that kept me awake

    Please help. The last time I went to the doc the heartbeat was located on the left side of the stomach. Since then I'm worried abt my sleeping position. I do sleep side ways. But I'm scared that in sleep I put pressure on the stomach and might harm the baby. Please assist is there a possibility that I'll hurt my baby. Or any tips for sleeping? I'm in my 2nd trimester. 6 months

      Hi, it is recommended to sleep on your left side to allow blood flow to pump more easily around your body. Lying on your right hand side can made it more strenuous for your blood cirulation. That is the reason behind it, so the position of your growing baby is not impacted. If you are worried, you could get some good cushions and pillows to prop yourself up with so you can sleep in a more upright position. I hope that helps you, best wishes, Vicki

    I have had a bad cold and flu like symptoms this week so have got more congested. What has them happened is my body has actually then started to panic when I try and fall asleep and resulting in me not being able to sleep. It’s an actual nightmare.

    I’m currently 27 weeks which means I’m only days away of entering the third trimester. It’s 1:30am and I’m trying to sleep since last night and I’ve been tossing and turning since the past hour and haven’t been able to sleep. I wake up to pee but also because of my crazy and VIVID dreams. I cannot with this anymore😭😭I have to work tomorrow so I NEED a solution to this 😔🫶🏻💖 I need this job and I need my sleep. Please mamas what advice can you give me? 🥹
