- Have you been to Paris CDG airport? If so, how did you find your visit?
I haven't been to Paris CDG airport for years, but when I was last here, I got lost. In all fairness there was no CDGVAL train linking the terminals. Maybe it's just me. This time I am determined to find my way around this huge airport, discover the CDGVAL rail system linking terminals, and see the beautiful Air France Concorde for the first time.

We have our own Concorde Scott at the national museum of flight. Well worth a visit 🏴
I know what you mean about difficulties in getting between terminals at CDG before. I was going on holiday and had to change at this airport both ways, and you needed your wits about you on your first visit. Thanks for sharing - you certainly got around the terminal buildings!
Back in the 1970s and early 80s , Concorde was a regular sight at Prestwick , doing circuits and touch and go’s . I will never forget the ‘rip” off the engine and the reek ! Fantastic!
I remember someone telling me about a Concorde trip to nowhere leaving from Glasgow or Prestwick. It took off, did a big loop over Scotland and came back.
Air France BAC/Aerospatiale Concorde variant 101, British Airways Concordes were variant 101. Build no.215 F-BVFF, her first flight was on 26th Dec 1978 and delivered to Air France on 23rd Oct 1980. She was withdrawn from service on 11th June 2000. I remember watching the BA Concordes when they regularly visited Prestwick on training flights. The very last Concorde, BA no.216 G-BOAF was the final one to fly on 26th Nov 2003, the end of an era.
I saw the Concorde take off from the Rockford Illinois airport.
It's an amazing bird, and to think how old it is! Commercial aviation has come no where near this beauty since.
