Every Hammer vampire film. The original Night Stalker, Castle of Blood, House of Dark Shadows, The Yorga Vampire films, Universal 1943 film Son of Dracula, The Spanish 1931 Dracula. The Last Voyage of the Demeter. And my guilty pleasure Slaughter of the Vampires. To name a few
A top notch idea Donny 👍, I don't think I've ever seen a Vampire movie collection video on TH-cam, until now !! I agree "Fright night" one of the best vampire movies ever made, I still need to pick that one up !!!!!
Thanks, Carlos! Come to think of it, I've never seen a vampire movie collection video on YT either. You can get the UK blu of Fright Night for a good price.
Thanks! I'm going to watch just one horror movie on Halloween, because I have to work, so I will not have time to do a marathon or something. Anyway, the one I'm watching will probably be Zombieland.
When you made your zombie collection video I asked you if you could do one about your vampire movies. Nice to finally see it ;-) , great collection. No Jean Rollin movies? My recommendations would be Only Lovers Left Alive by Jim Jarmusch, Martin by Romero and Les Lèvres Rouges (Daughters of Darkness) by Harry Kümel.
I remember someone ask me to do a video of my vampire movie collection, but I forgot who it was, but now I know - it was you! Sorry for the long wait, but I hope it was worth it. I'm not the biggest Jean Rollin fan, but I enjoyed his vampire films. Perhaps I ought to pick them up someday. Thanks for your recommendations. I have watched Only Lovers Left Alive not so long ago and that was a great one. Definitely will be getting that one on blu.
Always a treat to see some of the sweet items in your collection. Vampire movies are a love of mine. I'm especially fond of the Christopher Lee portrayals of Dracula. That model of Titty Twisters is amazing. Vampyr is classic. I own the Criterion version which I'll probably stick with. The Spanish version of Dracula is actually in some ways better, but Bela will always be the definitive Count Dracula with that heavy accent and spooky eyes.
Thanks for the kind words, sir. I love Christopher Lee as Dracula - he was one of the best without a doubt. Vampyr is an exceptional piece of cinema - still very effective and atmospheric. I agree with you on the Spanish version of Dracula - it's better directed and photographed, but I wasn't really fond of the actor portraying the Count. Lugosi, however, was perfect for the role. Take care, Bill.
Very nice presentation Donny. I waited all video for Near Dark and it finally arrived the very last one. The only two that come to mind you didn't have is 1. To Sleep With A Vampire which is not so great but it was produced by Roger Corman and the gorgeously sexy Charlie Spradling is in it. More importantly and #2 is Blood For Dracula, the Paul Morrissey film with Udo Kier which is a Must Have but the Criterion release is long out of print. And very pricey for 2nd hand copies on ebay I see. It looks like, from reviews I have just read that there is an excellent Australian region-free blu ray of Blood For Dracula and the uncut X-rated 104 minute version to boot. You've got to set your sights on Blood For Dracula. Oh, and I just thought of another Dracula film I like a lot that is great fun. It's Dracula A.D. 1972 with Lee and Cushing. Always enjoy your video's Donny. You're the best!
Thanks, Paul! Yes, I saved the best for last. Your recommendations are very welcome, my friend. I have seen Blood for Dracula many moons ago and I'm familiar with the Australian Blu-ray release and I will pick that one up at some point. And I'm planning on getting all of the Hammer vampire films, especially the ones with Lee and Cushing. Can't go wrong with these gentlemen. I'll give To Sleep with a Vampire a watch when I get the chance. Take care, sir.
Bram Stoker's Dracula,Dracula 2000,Wes Craven's Dracula Trilogy,The Vampire's Assistant,True Blood TV Series,Young Dracula,Dracula TV Series etc. Dude:)
Hi Donny great video again, can I ask if the French version of The Fearless Vampire Killers has removable subtitles ?, I also watched a good vampire film the other night called Innocent blood, from John Landis, don't think its out on blu-ray yet, only dvd
Thanks, buddy! Unfortunately, the French edition of Fearless Vampire Killers don't have removable subs. I hope Innocent Blood will get a Blu-ray release, that would be great.
Vampyr is one I gotta check out. Same with the Bela Lugosi Dracula, I can't believe I haven't watched that yet. Also gotta see the hammer Dracula. Blacula looks interesting... Cronos is one I'm picking up with the new Guillermo del toro trilogy set from criterion. I can't wait, it's releasing tomorrow. Nosferatu is awesome. The 1910 Frankenstein is actually pretty good. I wanna check out the Werner herzog nosferatu. Great video!
There are many movies you still need to check out, dude. Cronos is a great little gem and one of the most original vampire movies ever made - you can't go wrong with señor Del Toro. Thanks for watching & commenting!
Fang-tastic idea for a video Donny! That DTD edition is fucking awesome, love it. I really hope Fearless Vampire Killers is released by Warner Archive in the US, it's crying out for a remaster. Love The Lost Boys. Vampyr is one I still need to pick-up; I'm hoping Criterion just upgrade that lovely set to Blu. I'm hoping we get a Dracula Legacy Collection Blu-ray upgrade next year on the back of the Wolfman and Frankenstein sets this year. Satanic Rites of Dracula arrived the other day so I've finally finished my Hammer Dracula Blu/DVD collection! I like most of the films in the series, which is more than I can say for the Frankenstein Hammer series. Big fan of both the Blacula and Count Yorga series'. Definitely check out House of Dark Shadows. If you like Yorga I'm sure you'll love that, it's terrific. The Hunger is one I still need to pick up, have never seen it in full. If you love Lifeforce you might want to see a doctor! I joke of course! Thirst is great. You're right, Near Dark desperately needs a better Blu-ray. Lionsgate's new Vestron Video line seems our best hope. A few I'd recommend which aren't here Donny (you may have seen them, I don't know): - House of Dark Shadows - The Night Stalker - Any Hammer Vampire films you don't have (especially the Dracula sequels and Twins of Evil, which is brilliant) - Count Dracula (1970s BBC serial starring Louis Jourdan; dated but still good) - Vampire's Kiss (I'm sure you've seen this, genius Nic Cage) - Innocent Blood That's about all I can think of right now! But great vampire collection Donny. Hope you are enjoying your horror viewing and take care my friend.
Thanks, Kyle. A new remaster of The Fearless Vampire Killers would be very welcome, especially in 4K. Same thing counts for Vampyr. Satanic Rites of Dracula is one of the Hammer/Dracula movies I haven't seen yet, really need to do that someday. I watched Burnt Offerings a couple of days ago and it made me curious about Dan Curtis' other work, especially Dark Shadows and his version of Dracula with Jack Palance. Can't believe you've never seen The Hunger. It has a very '80s vide, but I love it. And the ending is great. Dude, even my doctor loves Lifeforce lol! Thanks for your recommendations, friend. I love Innocent Blood and I'm still hoping for a Blu-ray release. I've never seen Vampire's Kiss, believe it or not, but I'm familiar with Cage's crazy performance in that one. I am enjoying my horror viewings and I hope you're enjoying yours as well. I have a lot of horror stuff to show in my upcoming update. All the best, buddy!
Frank Langella's Dracula (1979) correction from first comment my friend I meant to say Frank Langella not Frank Miller!!!!!!!!!!!!! I own tons and tons of Vampire and Dracula movies in my collection + 3 Blu-ray Editions of John Carpenter's Vampires and Interview With The Vampire is one of my favorites as well starring Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Christian Slater and Kristen Dunst :)
I'm afraid I have to disappoint you again. I can't do Top 10 lists. I tried it many times, but I just couldn't work it out. I envy people who can do it.
Do a similar video for werewolf movies. I always prefered werewolves. "What We do in the Shadows", "Hotel Transylvania", "Horror of Dracula", "Only Lovers Left Alive", "Queen of the Damned", the sequels of Lost Boys, "Dracula Untold", the twilight bullshit, "Innocent Blood", "Buffy", "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter", "The Vampire Lovers", "Vampire`s Kiss", "The Last Man on Earth", "The Addiction", "Dracula 2000", "Nadja", "Dracula: Dead and Loving It", "Modern Vampires", "Once Bitten", "Martin", "House of Frankenstein", "Abbot and Costello meet Frankenstein", "Embrace of the Vampire" and Blood Roses" were all absent.
I was expecting somebody to ask me to do a video of my werewolf collection lol. I don't have as much as my vampire stuff, but I'll keep it in mind. That's quite a list of recommendations - thank you for that. There are some titles I will definitely not pick up: Dracula 2000 and Dracula Untold were pretty dreadful. Twilight? Did you recommend Twilight to me?! lol!
No, I definitly did not recommended those. I just wrote all the movies I remembered and I thought you had a few of those and had just forgotten to show, like "What We Do In The Shadows".
Awesome collection!
Thanks!

I'm completely with you on Lifeforce... love that one.
Glad you love the movie too. It's a great one.
buffy the vampire slayer movie and tv series i love those
I was never really a Buffy fan, but I did enjoy some of the TV episodes.
Great video! Please show us what horror films you are gonna watch during Halloween!
Thanks! I'm going to watch just one horror movie on Halloween, because I have to work, so I will not have time to do a marathon or something. Anyway, the one I'm watching will probably be Zombieland.
Awesome Vampire Collection Dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm A Huge Vampire Fan:)
Thanks, man!

Wow....nice collection!!

Donny do you have a favorite vampire from the lost boys
Not really, but if I have to choose a favorite it would be Kiefer Sutherland.
Cool I like him too he is my favorite I also like Brooke McCarter
Hey Man Which Dracula Films Does Christopher Lee Speak In:)
I have to admit I haven't seen all of Lee's Dracula films, so you tell me ;)
Vampyr is one I gotta check out. Same with the Bela Lugosi Dracula, I can't believe I haven't watched that yet. Also gotta see the hammer Dracula. Blacula looks interesting... I just ordered Cronos off of the Criterion Collection with the Guillermo Del Toro Trilogy!! I ordered it for the flash sale.
Hi Donny, great collection. Do you have What we do in the shadows ? :)
Thanks, Carl. I've seen What We Do in the Shadows and I loved it, but I still need to get it on blu.

Thanks!
love at first bite, comedy vampire movie
Do you have a collection of The Godfather? Or maybe my favourite film Silence of the Lambs? :P I love these collection videos btw
Don't have much of those films. Just a DVD set and a Blu-ray release of both.
Fair enough buddy lol How about a list of your top ten movies of all time?
Would Be Great!!
I'm afraid I have to disappoint you again. I can't do Top 10 lists. I tried it many times, but I just couldn't work it out. I envy people who can do it.
That's fine by me lol It can be in no particular order if you want

Selina is beautiful but the movie is not great
some of these don't look like they are from the US
That's correct. They're from all over the world.
